They are all dancing AND singing! It's one think to expect a dancer to do this normally just in an ordinary routine (and they are all amazing here) but to have to sing as well, and not drop a note... I don't think everyone realises just how fit they would really have to be. They are amazing! And would have to be ridiculously fit!

Hi I know this comment is 6 years old (wow) but I doubt they sang it live. The bit at the start (up until the "Strike" part) is definitely sung live but after that it seems to be playback. The quality of the audio completely changes at some point

I saw Newsies on Broadway over the summer and that number is much better in the context of the play. When they perform one number like that on a show it just doesn't feel the same as watching the whole play and experiencing everything with them.

I just saw Newsies at the Nederland Theater in NYC this past Saturday and LOVED it! The music was great, the dancing-phenomenol, and these actors/actresses really put their heart into it. I never really paid any attention to this musical prior-not even realizing that they were on DWTS! After seeing the production, I find myself "you tubing" songs at work so I can re-live the show.....but I only like the performances with Corey Cott because he was the lead at the time I saw it-a real cutie!
