Honestly this still doesn’t quite capture what Jordin brings to the stage with this song. Two hours of emotional build-up as Jenna pours out of her onstage in this song and I’ve never been in a crowd that audibly gasped and all mouthed “oh my god” the way they did when she reached the climax of this song. I’m thankful to have gotten to experience it. Unreal

Somehow she managed to sound as though she were sobbing throughout the song, all while maintaining excellent vocals and pitch. And it’s like... we’ve all been there. Sobbing for the person we once were, the chance we once had, for the life we once lived. And because of that, it hits just so much deeper when Jordin sings it.

EG idk know about that. I saw Jessie Mueller several times and she knocked it out of the park. I just heard SARA sing it on tour and that was fantastic too. I think there’s something great that each singer brings to the show. And yes, she is very emotive. 😊

This woman's voice still sounds like liquid gold. I remember watching her on American Idol as a kid and so many people disliked her because she was heavier set. I also sing and was heavier growing up and I admired her so much. Glad to see she's doing amazing things. I got to see Shoshana Bean in this which was amazing but I imagine this was equally powerful. I get goosebumps just watching this.

I love Jordan Sparks’ voice. Her low notes can saw through redwoods and her high notes could etch leaded crystal with laser precision . This is the only performer for whom I voted on American Idol. It seems everyone is singing this incredible song lately, and this rendition has propelled itself to the top of my favorites list.

What really gets me about this performance is that she isn’t just sounding beautiful, she is truly feeling every single emotion this song conveys.
