It really can be so simple and sustainable! My favorite meal consists of potatoes with a huge pot of veggie soup I cook in the instapot. You can do this!

Love that you enjoy the hot water! I remember being shocked at how much I enjoyed it when I started drinking it. Re: the breastfeeding journey…I totally agree on the journey being unique. And sometimes those hard times can be an opportunity for the child to learn to respect our boundaries as people/parents too. Sort of like them realizing we are people and we have limits too…if they abuse those boundaries, then the feeding is over, you know?

romi is adorable, re boob she may be growing, they cluster feed and are grabbing to get more out, it will hopefully pass and feeding will be calm again. I love the summer and the summer fruits, peaches and watermelon. smoothie and fruit bowl for breakfast, jacket pot and salad for lunch and soup and apple cucumber and grapes for dinner. loving it.

Amy, I totally share your excitement about food. That is the first thing my husband commented on when we became Vegan and later on Whole Foods Plant Based. Your husband is right about the warm water regulation the body. That`s why Arabs in hot, hot, countries drink warm tea. The science behind it is this. Your body has an average temperature of about 37° Celsius. If you take drinks that are hotter or colder than your body temperature, the body has to use energie to cool or heat the foods/beverages to your body temperature of 37°C. Easy to understand. 🙂 The perfect temperature for all of your drinks or food should be the same as your body temp. That`s when the body uses up no extra energy for adjusting. 🙂 Huggs from Germany.
