I love the real and raw life that you show here on KZbin. I love your squeaky kiddos and how you involve them with everything you do. You are an amazing mum! You show us real life and how to live this lifestyle even when life is busy and messy. Thank you so much for all the time you put into making them. ❤️

I’m tired of the glamorous vloggers with perfect bodies, makeup and homes, and are carefully scripted. Love your real life style. My house was a mess when my kids were little. Still not perfect lol. I’m loving the potato reset, by the way, and I’ve been eating this way for 8 years.

I love every single one of your videos Ami! They are fun and full of great info and awesome recipes! Life is not a scripted storybook. I learn something fun and delicious with each video! I've been a whole food plant t based vegan for almost 30 years and I'm still learning some great recipes from you! Keep doing what you're doing! We all love you and your precious lil ones! ❤

I love your transparency. You are so genuine and you are an amazing mom! I love watching your interaction with Abe and Romi. It is such a blessing to see how you take the time to teach them healthy eating at a young age and allow them to be free to explore nature. And your recipe ideas are always amazing. I DEFINITELY love and appreciate the real life feel of your videos. I don’t actually enjoy those made up “perfect family” stuff. I can see through the fake to easily. Some people it’s hard to stop watching cuz I’ve been watching for ages, but seeing the changes bums me out. But everyone grows. And changes, or, shows who they really are eventually? Idk. My point here, I love your videos!! And the realness and wildness of it all. You are a busy mom, they are so adorable and loud and I love it. I know some people don’t enjoy stuff like that but it really is wild to me how much people share and then others critic. Keep going like this, many of us love the authenticity of your videos/life

I actually made a potatoe sushi last year or somerhing like that before i found you and thought nothing of it. 😂 but i have been accused many a time of being a weird eater. I guess if nothing else you figured out how many pounds you eat in a day which is allways interesting to know.

Best to weigh your veg and starch separately prior to cooking for a more accurate weight. Also don’t forget water weight i.e. soup, mash. Water has zero calories but a lot of weight. I’ve so enjoyed the 3 weeks of reset I can’t decide on my meals for next week - I reckon I’ll do a transition meal plan. That would be a good meal plan? Thanks for all your advice - invaluable.

I make my soups quite simply, this is similar to Ami’s process … 2L water, low salt Bouillon powder, onion, garlic and then veggies she said her soup today was zucchini and broccoli. Blend till smooth! You can start with base and mix n match the veggies you use. I have a tomato, lentil soup right now. I usually make butternut squash with carrots and pumpkin pie spice, and corn chowder with cauliflower. 🍜
@tammycasaletto2490 Жыл бұрын
@@amberjohnston586 thank you Amber. Is there a certain low salt Bouillon powder that you use? How much powder? I do not like cooking or being in the kitchen, but this seems like a very simple thing I can do 👍
@amberjohnston586 Жыл бұрын
@@tammycasaletto2490 I use a heaped tablespoon but just add and taste, you’ll get a feel for the amount you like. I look for a vegan/ vegetable bouillon powder in my stores.

Yesterday I boiled some russet potatoes so I could be prepared. I put them in the fridge to eat today and they where gray and tasted bad. I usually just steam a couple to eat at each meal because my steamer is small. Any advice on how to prep more potatoes in advance without them going weird? Please help. Edit to add. I always peel them because I am picky so the actual potato was gray,not white!
@asmith89 Жыл бұрын
I store mine with the peels on in an open bowl and they last most of the week! I make a big instant pot batch each time. Maybe you can wait to peel them when you're preparing the actual potatoes for what you're eating? That's what I do and it works. I hope this helps you!
