Honestly for a quarterback that had an injury depleted team missing out his best players for majority of the season, I think he played better than most thought he would. His running backs were down to third, fourth string guys, and his WR1 from last year Aiyuk was a non factor and eventually got injured. His Oline was filled with no names and Trent Williams missed a portion of the games.

As an avid 49er fan I would like to see how much Brock can do with more control over the offense, but Ik Kyle is gonna run his system and that’s the law. One thing I would love to see from Brock is hit deep shots to guys in stride; that is the one thing that I am still waiting to see Brock do more consistently. Too many times I’ve seen him throw deep to guys and not exactly hit them in stride. Nonetheless I feel like Brock has been getting better every season and I believe that that will continue to do so. I believe in him.

I've seen that quite a few times. Last year, he had a deep shot to Aiyuk for a TD against the Bucs. He also got the Seahawks with one to Deebo from the slot.. that was last year, too. He is only in year 3 nowhere near his prime. Im sure he will get better there. I wanna see him use his legs more. There were plays this year where he could have made some plays if he didn't wait so long to run.

@jacklaker1939 i don't think it's far fetched to say that they win 3-4 more games if the kicking unit was actually consistent and there was a solid RB that got a lot of reps and didn't have injuries If not that, then also even to mention other key offensive unlucky breaks like pearsall missing 1/3 the season, aiyuk missing the whole season, and deebo falling off a cliff and seemingly beefing with the whole team, if those don't happen then they definitely compete easily

My only issue with Purdys play this year.. was the untimely int in the 4th.. there wasn't many but a enough to take notice he was trying to do to much with what he had and just amplified the issues .. he has to take a step back and just trust the process and not force thread the ball .. even if the oline breaks down. Toss it away and live to see another play.. moody cost us 3 games. Purdy a couple and special teams a few.. we could have been easily 11 and 6 ..

In order for the offense to reach the next level, I think Brock needs to be entrusted to call his own plays. Or rather, in the most effective offenses, you'll feel that the QB is running the show and the coach is holding a clipboard. It's not just responsibility but a mentality. With Kyle's offense, you never feel that. It's like a techinical system that fails to adapt as the game progresses.

49ers will be in better position than a lot of teams with older QB’s like the Rams and Seahawks. 49ers defense was bad at times but statistically they were top 5 overall. They nailed the draft with young players in the secondary. 49ers are known to find all pro players in the 3rd-5th round. They just need a better defensive coordinator. On offense they found Deebo’s replacement in the draft last season and have 2 very good receivers on the outside. They just need to stay healthy that’s the main thing.
