aiyuk was a mistake for them to not trade and to sign with that ridiculous contract. he is a wr2 at best. jennings is their best receiver but the lowerest cost one. this seems to be a theme for the 49ers. lazy players that completely turn to shit after they get their money. i think its time 49ers start giving incentive based contracts from now on. and they need to learn to be able to walk away from players because john lynch is TERRIBLE at negotiations. hes constantly getting owned because they know he will allow them to hold out and finally get what they want in the end. the aiyuk situation would been perfect opportunity to show agents that they are going to fine players that are under contract and hold out. they are not going to give contracts to hold outs. because nothing is to stop any player, under contract or not to hold out. i mean purdy has way more leverage than aiyuk. purdy can hold out next year and demand to be the highest paid qb in nfl.
