The Granite Drive - A Dream Driveway that will last a lifetime!

A beautiful driveway here using Marshalls granite setts to create a stunning and contemporary but classic driveway!
This driveway is ultra low maintenance and will last for generations to come.

You have just destroyed the original and traditional garden setting of a semi-detached house. Pushing down the brick pillars and installing a characterless grey ‘helipad’. Never mind the accumulative hard surfaces causing flooding ! All this just because people are seduced by bloated, fat-arsed cars in order to inflate their egos.

Thanks for watching and putting your views forward. It’s always nice to hear people’s perspectives, even if they’re in the minority. Let’s clarify a few things James. The wall was unsafe, this was demonstrated in the way it was pushed over by hand. The bricks were damaged and spalled. We matched the new wall with bricks that are the modern day equivalent. The driveway was a crumbling tarmac surface. It was replaced by a beautiful natural stone sett driveway. The actual m2 area was only slightly larger than it was previously. I know you’re probably not educated on falls on paving but the surface water was directed onto the soft areas (the drive had a cross fall) All the best 😃✌🏼

I'm from the Granite City of Aberdeen, so I love grey granite :) LOL @ the one guy who hated this. There's plenty of drainage and a clear slope, so nobody will drown on the "helipad". The old place was tired, crumbling and sad. Now it's clean, modern and slick. Love it!

We had a Marshals granite driveway, side passage and rear patio installed by an approved contractor in 2018 whilst our neighbour had a Marshals composite block drive installed simultaneously. Since that time our surfaces have remain unchanged whilst our neighbour has had his re-pointed and cleaned several times. Interestingly, the cost was about the same. I would choose granite every time.
