Definitely don’t spend 15 minutes on introductions. It should be just like Brodie said where you have the interview and you chop it up into little tidbits that you sprinkle throughout the episode or episodes as the relevant person is doing something interesting in the game

Yep that would be great to understand the players and their games better. Its hard to judge if someone is the imposter when they might just suck at certain shots.

I have a theory, something hunter would do, that everyone except 1 is an imposter and the one thats not is tryijlng to survive. Ya'll remembe the spoof reality show called the Joe Schmo show?

I think the reality aspect was awesome. If you’ve ever seen the show “traitors” on peacock, they also have imposters on that show but they show you who the imposters are at the beginning so you can kind of root for them or against them based on who it is. I think it would be fun for us to know who the imposter is, that way we have someone to root for or against.

Constructively, episode 2 seemed a little rushed at only 30 minutes. Even the cuts during the disc golf, seemed right to the shot and result. Rinse and repeated. Not as much in depth as Ep1. I'd like it to be a little longer like a Jomez practice round almost. Hearing Jerm talk about this that and whatever is as cool as the disc golf play itself. Do a little on course insight as to what everyone is thinking in the moment. Having Goose (and Ezra) in next time would be beyond incredible. They're both so comfortable talking to the camera and great personalities.

Disc Golf Survivor concept would be better than DG Imposter. At the end of a round you have to vote out 1 player from the group until there is a final 2 or 3, and the voted out players have to select a winner. Or replace the “select a winner” with having the final 2 players do a 2-3 hole playoff

I would add another thing to what Brodie is saying about you have never played team sports if you don’t like what he is saying. You could have played team sports just not at a competitive level. Like nothing past travel ball in junior high. Or you’re just not competitive at all.

Some feedback/ideas for future seasons. I do agree that a player intro would be helpful. Experience, skills, etc. Maybe a good first episode would be to have some sort of skills contest to showcase each persons abilities. Backhands, forehands, approach shots, putting, accuracy, etc. During the show you could have players make a minute or two introduction. AND, you could even vote someone off on this round too. That would give some incentive to play to their capacity. And get some on camera time to loosen up. 45 minutes to an hour is fine for a series like this.

The initial comment about making people feel something is more true than it sounds, at least to me. Nowadays, half the content on the internet is crazy clickbait or stuff made specifically to trigger people into reacting, which is a cheap way of eliciting emotions from the audience. For the imposter series, which is an honest, inoffensive, and creative effort to entertain us, to make such an impact (good and bad) is a sign that the channel is doing something right.

That’s why the “Imposter” videos feel weird to me. It makes sense now, since “reality” tv sucks balls. Giant Rat Vs. Donkey Vs. Giraffe balls, with rat being rather large, proportionally. Good luck, Trevor and Hunter! You too, Brodie. Y’all stay real.

My early prediction is Trevor's the imposter. He's good enough to avoid suspicion, comfortable enough on camera to play into the doubt every other player is going through, and we've seen enough of his game to know he won't be perfect and don't over analyze any single "miss". Without Hunter to immediately key in on him for no reason what-so-ever, I think he's going to run away with this one. You heard it here first. Also, Trev looked so smug every time the imposter's success was mentioned during this podcast. FWIW I'm 100% here for it, its going to be electric as other am's get voted off for being a "weak link" on the team and he keeps getting through, but the lines keep getting missed, who is going to catch on first!?!

Thoughts On Imposter Reality Series: Pros It’s a fun watch. I’m glad you have a pro (Brodie) on the show. Keep all the Ams too because you can tell they really care. Cons It might just be me, but the money part is still not clear to me? But I might just be missing it. Overall, great job guys.

There’s a pot of $5000 that whoever makes it through to the end will win and split amongst themselves. Every day they fail a challenge, $500 gets removed from their winnings. They lost twice so that’s $1000 they lost now. The pot is now $4000 for whoever wins at the end. The $500 they lose goes to the Imposter. So the Imposter’s already won $1000. If the imposter is never found out, they double whatever they’ve won. I think this is correct

I said it before. I was really dreading it when I heard it was a "reality series" but was thrilled when I heard Imposter disc golf. Hard to say the imposter is out already but based on what Brodie said maybe he is out. There was some shady things in round 2 but could just be bad performance since nothing was that criminal but there was a few things.

Man, I love the dissection of the imposter game with Hunter, Brodie, and Trevor, though I think it would be better if it was people who weren't directly involved analyzing it. Maybe it becomes a segment with Konner and/or Silas paired with a pro who is watching week-to-week. Could even be a different pro each week. Adding some different (outside) perspectives could be really electric in analyzing the decision making and also getting some opposing views that aren't tied to foundation.

Re introducing the Imposter players, you could have slipped them into other Foundation videos in the preceding month or so. Those are a good way to get to know someone, and then when they should up in Imposter we all know who they are already and will be "oh, that's why they were in those earlier videos!" (Imposter is great btw)
@Sumaleth

I suppose it doesn't need to be a surprise that they later turn up in Imposter: they could be introduced as Imposter players in the upcoming season in something like a Hunter+Trevor Verses team competitive round. Oh, and having two players with the same name was confusing. :)

I've just come to terms with the fact that Brodie is polarizing, and I'm on the side of people who he rubs the wrong way, even though I actually think he has a lot of good takes on disc golf. I don't think he's a bad person, but his domineering and aggressive communication style just doesn't sit well with me. It's hard for me to watch debate night, and I cringed a lot during the first episode of the new Imposter series. It just felt like he sucked all the air out of the room and scared the other contestants. I still enjoyed it, though, and I recognize that other people find it entertaining.

After all the imposter videos on their channel and the number of comments on the videos, I'm betting that they (Foundation) finally did TWO imposters and they (the imposters) DON'T know there is another.
