A buddy and I went over to St. Andrews and played the Eden and Old Course in April of 2016. Absolutely poured on us the entire round at the Old Course and was 35 degrees with sustained 20+ mph winds. Definitely got the full experience over there my friend. So happy you're doing course vlogs and genuinely enjoying your time. I'll forever be a subscriber and will watch the ads in full to support you. You're the man and I appreciate your humbleness and professionalism. P.S. I would absolutely love to play a round of golf with you. You seem like a great guy and someone I'd like to associate with.

This video is fire!! I've been working on trying to hit knock down shots this year. The fix im working on is to not alter the swing mechanic of rotating hard, rather just 1) choke up 2) set the club sooner in a shorter backswing, and then take a full swing at the ball. Boom that thing is flighted down

Brodie we have a saying here in the UK... When it's breezy, swing it easy🏌️♂️
@michaelp89455 жыл бұрын
My golf coach says that lol. He said the logic is that when you swing hard the ball spins more which is bad when it's windy so we swing easy to lessen the spin.

Hey Brodie to answer your question on how to get out of the long grass also know as "heather. " Your swing path needs to be steeper when you attack the ball. Swing more down at the ball. Then you have less contact with the long grass. Then resulting in better ball contact.

13:26 I like to cheat the club face open quite a bit, grip very firmly, and swing hard. Although, that can also potentially create issues if there's trouble on the right, and the face doesn't get closed down. I'd be interested to hear what Cameron says, as well.

@13:16 - play it slow and look where your divot is going. It isn't so much the club face closing, you are getting too steep and coming over the top. The ball went exactly where your swing path was. Technically your club head was square to your swing path, so it wasn't closed. If you want to come in steep from rough and not go left, play a cut - or make it easy on yourself and play for the pull.
