The format of this is similar to a game I used to play with kids at the YMCA after-school program where I worked 21 years ago that we called "Crate Golf." A milk crate was the hole and a small Nerf-like ball coated in rubber was the projectile. We were in a century-old school building full of twisting hallways, staircases, etc. As in Disc Golf, the player counted strokes and played where the ball lies after it came to a stop. A successful hole-out occurred when the ball stopped inside the milk crate, which could be facing any direction (but down, obviously). The kids took turns designing the next hole, from where you'd tee off to where the milk crate is and what direction the open part of it was facing. It could involve doglegs in hallways that changed directions, entering classrooms, going up or down stairs, etc. Creativity in hole design was encouraged. Yes, if you blew by the milk crate and the opening was facing in the opposite direction, you'd have to burn a stroke getting back in position...or else attempt some sort of crazy bank shot off the wall or other obstacle. I have VHS footage of this. (It's in Kalamazoo, Michigan's Lincoln Elementary School, 1998-99 school year).
