I started before range finders existed so I learned to use my eyes to feel the shot , now I use both when I play and at times will leave the range finder at home to test my feel and my eyes to make sure I still have that touch . Dope channel !

Anything inside 60 yards is a feel shot for me. Depending on the shot at hand. Over that I have shots and yardages dialed for where I grip the club and back swing length.

You and Kelsey should definitely play at Gunters landing in Guntersville, Alabama. It is the most challenging course I have ever played other than Farm links (pursell farms).

Played with a guy who used a range finder but after watching him using it when he was maybe 10 yards off the green it got very annoying i ended up throwing his bag off the cart and finishing by myself. If your around the green chipping or even 30 yards out and arent very good anyway theres no reason to be using a range finder. Also 99% of us just need a general idea how far away we are. I aim for every pin and im happy if im on the green and im not great im a 7 handicap imo people try to get to precise on yardage. Unless your a pro and are able to know exactly where ur gonna be hitting it to just be happy if ur on the green in regulation.

Yardage is good, but you have to know what the ball will do around the hole. A bump and run on one hole and a flop on another can both be the right play from 75 out...

Definitely a feel guy, inside of 80 yards. It's all just some part of a 60 from there in. And I think I do a better job of committing to the shot if I just try to feel those, vs trying to dial up a swing to fit a number.

Feal under 40 yards and distance over 40 yards for me but a distance is a swing so if you like more feal you should not use distance under your 3/4 58°

Brodie i usually will shoot the yardage when it comes to wedge shots but that’s all I do is shoot the distance. I may select a club that isn’t for that distance but it’s all about feel and btw my wedge game is fire #mizunoMPT5wedges

@@rondo9517 actually, being scratch doesn't even mean all your scores average around even par. It's more like your top 50 percent of your scores average par. This is for the american system it should be noted. I think overseas they have a system that does in fact encompass more of your scores. I'd think Brodie goes off the american system though since that is where he is from.
