Been waiting for this one! Following Brody's gymnastics has brought me back to rodeo. I enjoyed watching when I was young even though I had no idea what was going on. I've now learned a lot from you guys in the last couple weeks. Y'all are fun. And your mom's advice is stout.

Me too! It’s great to hear him on a rodeo podcast . Being in Eastern Oregon rodeo is just a part of life here .

Y'all asked some awesome questions. Dug a little deeper than other interviews I've heard. You touched on something I had wondered as a believer how you balance that competitive nature with the pursuit of Christ as priority. And I know those are probably lessons to be learned multiple times as Brody said, God will put you in your place. I appreciate your desire as young men at the pinnacle of your sport desiring to glorify God in what you do. Also keep in mind ( coming from someone quite a bit older) that sometimes God's purpose in your circumstances is more about what He is doing in you than what He is doing with you. His ultimate goal is to make us more like Jesus. The end of that verse in James " so that we may be made perfect and complete, lacking nothing".
