Hi Brody, I never post anything or subscribe to anyone’s channel but I found you while researching Nova restorations. For many years I had a shop at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I had a terrific crew of mechanics and fabricators and am familiar with many of your struggles. Needless to say I’m very impressed! So keep cranking. Can’t wait to see the completed car. My son has a 1965 Nova which I’m charged with restoring for him so I’m very interested. Also, to my surprise, we have a mutual acquaintance. Al Nakata! Several years ago had Al paint a couple of cars for me! He’s an awsome guy! And a terrible painter! Please tell himI said hello! Also, hope your healing process goes well!

So sorry to hear about your incident, Brody. As a dentist (orthodontist) here in Vegas, I know how traumatic these injuries can be. It sounds like you received excellent emergency care and I'm sure the final result will be cosmetically pleasing. I'm not sure how it can add character to one who's already quite a character, but we'll see. Be sure to let us know.

It looks great Brody. I am so sorry about your accident. In a few months your lip will soften up and it will be hardly noticeable. It sounds like you have a great dentist. I am just sorry that this happened to you. I have made similar mistakes in my life. Don't beat yourself up, just learn and move on. The car is really looking great. I look forward to watching your progress. It will certainly be a car to be proud of.

Your talent is broad and deep. The incident didn't seem to hamper your Zeppelin USA performance. The care you got to fix the damage is top flight, indeed. It's amazing how quickly you're healing up. Great videos on the project!

Well Brod I had no idea this had happened to you but I'm thankful you're gonna be alright. I did a dumb thing to myself just last week. I took a fall at work onto the concrete and broke my left wrist! LOL I finally get to see the ortho Doc tomorrow to get my permanent cast or to find out if I need surgery! You have a great attitude about it bud, you'll be fine. I'm thankful neither one of us were hurt worse! Love ya man!

sorry to hear about your accident. i've had a couple run ins with a drill too. i do remodel work and one time i was on a ladder drilling through the top plate of a wall and the drill caught and wacked me in the jaw and knocked me off the ladder. second time i was drilling through the bottom plate and the drill caught and trapped my hand between the drill and the 2x4 and somehow the trigger lock got engaged and the drill was still trying to turn. the motor started smoking and i had to use my free hand to get it unplugged. both times i was using an electric auger drill. i finally learned to always let the bit do the drilling, don't try and force a bit through.

Hey Brody. Just sold my 66 Nova and looking to start another one and came across your channel when doing some research on Undercoating. I know this is an old episode and you may not be looking at the responses, but if so, can you tell me what Raptor Liner product you used and if you thinned it out at all?

Good progress, too bad it’s kicking your butt. One comment….it’s not too late to get rid of the gas cap, I wish I would’ve done it before my car was painted.

Hopefully this is the worst garage accident you will ever suffer and you will no doubt consider safety practices for every operation you do going forward..... It's tough to learn safety lessons the hard way, but at least we learn, RIGHT?.....The car is coming together nicely!
