Rubik's Cube Solved In UNDER 5 SECONDS Using Your PB Scrambles

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this video. I think it’s pretty good, but there were some aspects that I definitely think could have and should have been better. So let’s talk about the 3 things I’m going to do from now on to make these challenge videos better: 1. Have a clear goal to create a storyline In my opinion, this video’s main flaw is that there’s no sense of progression towards a goal. It sort of just feels like a montage. When I got the 4.99 (spoilers!) on my first solve, there basically wasn’t anywhere to go from there and it kept me from making a specific goal to shoot for. From now on, I’m going to choose challenges where I can have a goal, and therefore a more coherent story. 2. Have better commentary Having to say the channel’s name and the time before each solve made me feel like I had barely any time to do commentary. Not only does this make the video less interesting, but it makes it much harder to edit. Part of the problem is having to do the reading, but more than that, I just need to make more of an effort. In the future, I’m going to push myself to do more/better commentary in these videos 3. Have more jokes In this video in particular, I feel like I didn’t have enough jokes. I also didn’t spread them out very well. All but one were pretty close to the beginning, which doesn’t make for a very entertaining 2nd half of the video. From now on, I’m going to try to plan more jokes for each of these videos to solve this problem. If you have any more suggestions, please let me know! I want to make these videos as good as I possibly can so you guys will enjoy them.

@@BrodytheCuber also If you're curious, the solution to the first 6.18 (which I got in April/May 2017 :O) was the same as yours, except I recognized the WV, and got a LL skip. I couldn't reconstruct the other 6.18 (which I got a year later), but the ending was stupid: R' D' R U' R' D R U R U' R'+LL skip. I can't 3x3 single.

3:26 No. Every time you mess up, it just proves that you most likely had a slightly different solution from theirs, and their solution was also probably more lucky later in the solve (e.g. PLL skip). You don't suck!
