Hi Brogan, I’ve been watching you for years and I live not far away from York! I’m only just catching up on your vlog series after a busy few months and this inspired me to book a trip to York myself after not visiting for many years. We can’t wait and will be checking out some of the recommendations - especially the Yorkshire pudding wraps and chocolate shop!! A few people who are subscribed to you have also found my channel and started watching which blows my mind, but also have realised some live close to me which is so bizarre. Such a small world. I went to York for only one night on my 2018 UK trip! Stayed in the hotel on the corner across from the Minster. In about 24 hours I visited the Minster, walked the walls and got lost, explored The Shambles, ate at a lovely Italian place I stumbled upon, did a walk up at Betty’s and had a cuppa tea and a slice. I feel I didn’t get enough time there and would have been more enjoyable to not be alone. Super looking forward to watched the Edinburgh vlog as that was the highlight of my trip! ❤️

I actually got lost in “The Shambles” while on a school trip at junior school and taken back to the coach in a police car way back in 1970 and not been back since. So it was nice to be shown around in more detail.

I lived in York for 1 year while I finished my uni degree, and whilst I personally didn't enjoy living there and the circumstances surrounding that move, Its definitely nice to see people appreciate York for what it is and be excited to explore every little corner! I also used to work in the mini golf at the time too and I absolutely loved it

I think you would like Chester in Cheshire. Another Roman town like York with a race course and city walls you can walk round. Definitely worth a visit

Loved the vlog. York is one of our favourite places to visit as a family. The Yorkshire wraps looked scrumptious and will definitely try on our next visit. Jorvik centre, Inside the Minster and the York Castle museums are all must sees especially as Benji would love the history. Do hope you go back again soon to enjoy these experiences.

We love York! We live 40 minutes away from it. We got married 10 minutes away aswell. Such a lovely place! Also stayed in that hotel! The spark over the road is great for food x

York is absolutely one of the best places to visit and even though I’ve been many times you’ve made me want to book to go again! And you have absolutely missed some great other stuff to do in the area so you must visit again. Personally we love a premier inn on the outskirts as catching the bus into the city rather than parking in the city Centre.

We are flying to Shanghai in March , staying overnight then getting a 7 night cruise to Japan ( as a taster trip ) , then 3 nights back in Shanghai to explore ( they have Disney ) before flying back to London , got it for a great price 😊

I live in York born and bred here,you missed the Yorkshire soap company shop and the shop next door ( can't remember the name ) but they are both amazing and round the corner from brew and brownie but you walked a different way, there are plenty of other hotels on the out skirts of York too ,glad you enjoyed it here ,the golden fleece pub is York's most haunted pub and do great traditional pub food xx

The other branch of the York roast co is literally less than 5 minute walk! And I prefer the other branch lovely to get a wrap then walk to behind the minister and eat them on a bench with a stunning view
