It has been over 40 years (!) since I have been able to ski (had a terrible accident roller skating that fractured my femur). I used to love to ski and did a lot of it, mostly at Lake Tahoe in California, where I live. Watching your vlog, I was there on the slopes with you. I highly recommend the lasagne at the first restaurant you ate at. In my opinion it’s much better than the pizzas there!! I definitely agree that the hot choclates they do there is one of the best things about skiing in Sestriere!!

Brilliant first vlog of 2018, especially if I also enjoyed your previous skiing vlogs from 2014 and 2015 that I caught up on. The scenery is as beautiful as that in your previous skiing vlogs and your Iceland vlog, the chairlift and cable car shots look cool and I am impressed with Benji's skiing progress throughout the trip. One of the packs of Milka biscuits remind me of Cadbury Roundies we get in the UK while the mugs with spoons in their handles in one of the shops made me think of a Mickey Mouse mug of this nature I once had. I love your reindeer ears and antlers (at Christmas time I wore my Elsa-themed Minnie Ears from Hannah Marie Magic) and your XO earrings (I tried to figure out what they were throughout the vlog). I'm also sorry to hear about Benji hurting his knee and you biting your finger besides him feeling unwell and your mum hurting her knee. With regards to you wanting to try healthier snacks this year one thing I suggest you try is the Fibre One 90 Lemon Drizzle Bar if you like the brownies made by the same brand. I tried one lemon drizzle bar and the lemon flavour is subtle at first but it becomes tangier although I have yet to try the brownies. The weeks around Christmas and New Year have given me some difficult moments such as finding these times of year busier and more frustrating than any other; having feelings of underappreciation; experiencing some family issues; feeling poorly; and hearing about a burst pipe in my street that deprived my flat and the rest of the house it’s in from running water for a day but highlights included getting my hair cut; staying overnight at my sister's house for the first time (I stayed with my parents for the rest of my break); spending quality time with other relatives besides my sister (including my Grandad from London who stayed with my parents); receiving gifts such as both the animated and live action versions of Disney's Beauty and the Beast on DVD, a Tangle Teezer for Thick and Curly hair in Citrus Lilac and a Rockin' Robin Bomb Cosmetics bath bomb; filming and editing some videos; and shopping and having lunch out with my friend in Swansea. My eldest cousin's youngest son turned one on Christmas Day while on that same day I heard her sister/my other cousin is expecting her third child who is due this June. I also enjoyed reading your 2017 highlights blog post besides watching your 2017 highlights montage video.

Aw I went skiing with school back in 2010. We should have gone to Sestriere, but the tour company went bust so they sent us to Innsbrook instead. Its strange watching this and see where I would have gone. I can definitly understand Benjis pain on the first day, I couldnt walk properly for days after we got back! :-)
