What’s crazy about the Sagrada Familia is that’s not renovation, it’s never been finished. It’s expected to be finished in 2026, but due to the changing designs and lack of funds, it’s still not finished. It’s been in construction for over 200 years! Absolutely love the vlogs and glad to see you’re both happy and healthy! ❤️

I'm glad you enjoyed your gifted cruise from P&O, but you haven't really shown much of what the ship has to offer apart from restaurants, the theatre and a club.

That's completely incorrect Tracey. Those things are all a big part of it, but over the 3 vlogs so far we've also shown entertainment and live music in the Clubhouse and Skydome, a game show, the gym, drinks at bars, whirlpools and swimming pools, the swim-up bar, Shopping, Altitude Mini Golf, Mission Control The Escape Game, Bingo and the incredible Spa to name a few! Still to come in the next vlog is the sail away party, cinema and kids clubs too!

How can you say this? I don’t understand. Personally I feel like I’ve been on this cruise with them because Brogan shows everything so in-depth! For me these videos are just perfect as a travel vlog as they have it all and they review everything in such a trustworthy way, I’m not sure what else you need but feel free to try it yourself and we can all watch your vlog 😂

You definitely missed a real treat by not going inside it La Sagrada Familia. We were in Barcelona for the first time five weeks ago and went inside La Sagrada Familia, and it is stunning and so the opposite of the outside. The windows are stunning, you cannot see their beauty from outside. It’s modern and full of such beautiful colours and Gaudi spirals, and we went up one of the towers. We spent several hours inside. It was so relaxing and tranquil and spiritual.

Of course, we’d love to go inside in future but a) didn’t think we’d have time and b) couldn’t get tickets. It is on our list though, we’ve seen the photos 😊

Isn’t it spectacular inside?! I remember standing in the sunlight pouring through the stained glass and welling up because it was so unbelievably beautiful. We booked our tickets online for our chosen time slot the day before, if I recall correctly. Really quick and easy.

Sensational. Cannot get enough of this. About that Sagrada Familia cathedral...pretty sure I read that they started construction on it some 200 years ago, and STILL haven't finished! Various reasons..financial among them. Ohhh I love cuckoo clocks too. So many incredibly cute things in those shops! And btw you look great in a hat Brogan!!

So you need to book way in advance to go to the Sagrada familia. Sometimes up to six months in advance. There are some beautiful things inside, also some evil representations, and if you look closely it shows how the world is under the curse of the dragon. (Devil). Some things are disconcerting. 😮😮😮. It took me three hours to try to figure out with the help of a book explaining what and why it is depicted that away.

I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy Barcelona so much! I’ve lived here for 4.5 years (I’m from the UK) and I hate la rambla! It’s the busiest most crowded spot and Is lined with shit restaurants! I would always suggest montjuic For the best views of the city, we have hundreds of bars and restaurants all off the main tourist traps and so I think another visit to see more and get a real feel of it you might love it more! Also understand it isn’t for everyone! The tourists (ironic) can all get a lot and I’ll be honest it’s mainly all the boat loads of people from cruises who make up most of the crowds! 😳 what’s great is we have the Costa Brava coast and mountains so it’s very easy to escape the crowds ☺️

I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to try and see lots in one day, but we will return! I want to go inside the buildings, do Park Guell and the football stadium for Benji, but really appreciate these tips and will save them for next time! xx

Hi Brogan. Have you any idea how many staff it takes to run the cruise ship? It must be quite a lot. The logistics of food stocks, fuel, maintenance, berthing permits etc must be quite a feat.

I spent 4 nights in Barcelona precovid .. the atmosphere at night was sublime … never saw any pickpockets… felt very safe and the little lanes OFF las Ramblas are amazing and full of little authentic tapas bars, we went mid September and it was so nice and warm at night.. almost magical. I’d definitely go back again and stay … the fruit and food market is stunning ohhhh I really want to go back again

LOVE Facts with Benji segments. We have a weekend in Barcelona before our NCL Transatlantic cruise in November and I am definitely adding the Caelum cafe to the list. When you were standing in the square in Barcelona saying you were tired and wondering where to go, i was shouting 'turn righ't at the screen lol. Down that little side alley is a beautiful church and El pont de Bisbe, amazing gothic architecture. Barcelona can be overwhelming. It really needs 3 days and to just wonder the little streets to see at its best. 😊

Hi 😊 I just wanted to say I really appreciated you taking my feedback on board a few months ago regarding closed captions (I’m the deaf girl). The subtitles after we’re soo much better! I don’t know if you’ve gone to a different provider now but they’re quite bad again, it never transcribes ben, and I just wanted to let you know, I’m sure you can imagine how frustrating it is for deaf viewers not to know what’s being said and stuff xxx

Very interesting to see the difference between the guided excursion and your DIY. I think I would prefer the DIY but would do the guided to take a bit of pressure off. Thanks for watching! I mentioned I didn't love my meal at Sindhu as it was a bit spicy for my palette. I also didn't love the Digital Show we spoke about in this vlog (Benj's favourite but my least favourite), I said it lacked a storyline. I found the buffet to be quite busy on a sea day morning, so I preferred eating at The Quays or the main restaurant. Other than those things, I honestly don't have much to criticise about Ariva. We had an amazing trip and I felt totally at home. Hope that helps! 🥰

Water, tea and coffee are free from the buffet all day. You’ll also find fruit juice during breakfast and tea and coffee in the Freedom restaurants during mealtimes. Then they offer competitive bar prices and Drinks Packages for alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, Costa Coffee and more. Hope that helps! xx

I was on the same cruise, and in Barcelona I went Monastery at Montserrat, absolutely fantastic shore experience. But not if you suffer from Vertigo as the rack and pinion train is steep and just clings to the mountain

You managed a decent walk around Barcelona in one day, it's huge! Do go back and spend more time, slightly off season, it's worth it. Camp Nou, Park Guell, Sant Pau nr La Sagrada, and trips up both Montjuic and Tibidabo for the outrageously good views. Also if you have longer you can enjoy visiting Montserrat and chilling in one of the beach towns.
