Adding onto your points regarding Al-Istighatha and the Imam's view, رحمه الله, he also says in "فتح الربانىي": لا تدع مع الله احدا كما قال الله عز وجل وان المساجد لله فلا تدع مع الله "And *do not* invoke someone *along* with Allah for Allah has said: "And the Masjids are for Allah, so *do not* invoke along with Allah *anyone*."

@@whn2058 Ahlus Sunnah state that the meaning of the mutashabihaat are left to Allāh, but Salafis say the meanings are literal and known. Early Hanabilah even refute Salafi ideology. When Salafiyyah arose, Hanabilah refuted them and fought against them. Ulema from all four schools refuted Salafiyyah when they came about.

Lol, know your place. Sayyidunā Shaykh 'Abd al-Qādir al-Jilānī was a true atharī and not a mujassimah like you and your fellow friends. Just by your title you have proven to be a mujassimah for calling the great Walī and Shaykh for a Mujjassim, while calling him “a true Athari”. Good to know where you stand now. “Be complete” says the guy who has started his own sect by pick & choosing quotes from scholars without reading any commentary. This is a good example but hopefully a Sunnī scholar will come forward and answer your misconceptions.

Jazakllah khair, beautiful video. It is well known one of the primary reasons Sheikh Abdul Qadir was so critical of the people of Kalam and Tateel from his time was that the extreme transcendence applied by the Mutazila and those who followed them, directly impacted the believers ability to workship and become close to their Lord. The essence of what underpins 'sufism' as understood by many people today. Irony.

بِسْــــــــــــــــــــــمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْم Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al Jilani and his book Al-Ghunyat at-Talibeen: 1) On page 121 the Imam says that Allah is attributed with the direction (جهة) of highness, elevated over the throne. Quoting the following aya: “To him ascend the good words, and righteous deeds are raised up by him.” (Surah 35:10) وهو بجهة العلو مستو على العرش، محتو على الملك، محيط علمه بالاشياء، «إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه ﴾ [فاطر : ۱۰] 2) He said on page 123: “And between each sky and sky is a journey of five hundred years, and the water is above the seventh heaven, and the Throne of the Most Merciful is above the water, and God Almighty is above the Throne.” وأن الله تعالى خلق سموات بعضها فوق بعض، وسبع أرضين بعضها أسفل من بعض، ومن الأرض العليا إلى السماء الدنيا مسيرة خمسمائة عام، وبين كل سماء وسماء مسيرة خمسمائة عام، والماء فوق السماء السابعة، وعرش الرحمن فوق الماء ، والله تعالى على العرش، ودونه حجب من نار ونور وظلمة، وما هو أعلم به، وللعرش حملة يحملونه، قال الله عز وجل: «الذين يحملون العرش ومن حوله﴾ [غافر: 7] الآية 3) On page 124, another evidence he uses for affirming direction for Allah is the slave girl hadith. The prophet ﷺ asks her where Allah is, and she points up to the heavens. ☝️ والنبی ﷺ حكم بإسلام الأمة لما قال لها: أين الله؟ فأشارت إلى السماء 4) On page 124 he rejects ta’weel of istiwa, saying he did istiwa by his essence. He rejects the ashari understanding of uluw via domination, and the mu’tazili understanding that istiwa was to conquer throne (an interpretation taken by some asharis). وينبغي إطلاق صفة الاستواء من غير تأويل، وأنه استواء الذات على العرش لا على معنى القعود والمماسة كما قالت المجسمة والكرامية، ولا على معنى العلو والرفعة كما قالت الأشعرية، ولا على معنى الاستيلاء والغلبة كما قالت المعتزلة، لأن الشرع لم يرد بذلك، ولا نقل عن أحـد من الصحابة والتابعين من السلف الصالح من أصحـاب الحديث، بل المنقول عنهم حمله على الإطلاق 5) On page 123 he says the people of jannah will look at the face of Allah. وينظر أهل الجنة إلى وجهه، ويرونه لا يضامون في رؤيته، ولا يضارون، كما جاء في الحديث (۲): «يتجلى لهم ويعطيهم ما يتمنون»، وقال عز من قائل: «للذين أحسنوا الحسنى وزيادة﴾ [يونس : ٢٦] قيل: الحسنى هي الجنة، والزيادة : النظر إلى وجهه الكريم، وقال تعالى: «وجوه يومئذ ناضرة * إلى ربها ناظرة﴾ [القيامة : ٢٢ - ٣٣] 6) On page 123 he says Allah created Adam with his hand in his image, he planted the garden of Eden with his hand, he wrote the Torah with his hand, then gave it from his hand to Musa’s hand, he spoke with him directly without an interpreter. The hearts of the servants are between two of the fingers of the most Merciful, He turns them as He wills, and the heavens and the earth on the Day of Resurrection in his hand, he will put his foot in jahannam, he remove people from jahannam with his hand. وخلق آدم عليه السلام بيده على صورته، وغرس جنة عدن بيده، وغرس شجرة طوبی بیده، وكتب التوراة بيده، وناولها موسى من يده إلى يده، وكلمه تكليمًا من غير واسطة ولا ترجمان، وقلوب العباد بين أصبعين من أصابع الرحمن يقلبها كيف يشاء ويوعيها ما أراد، والسموات والأرض يوم القيامة في كفه كما جاء في الحديث . ويضع قدمه في جهنم، فينزوي بعضها إلى بعض، وتقول: قط قط، ويخرج قوما من النار بيده 7) On page 125-126 he says Allah descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of the night. He condemns the asharis and mu’tazila for their distorted claim that the mercy of Allah descends and not Allah himself. When he descends to the lowest heaven, he will call out for people to ask for forgiveness so that he may forgive them, then at fajr Allah will rise. وأنه تعالى ينزل في كل ليلة إلى سماء الدنيا، كيف شاء وكما شاء، فيغفر لمن أذنب وأخطأ وأجرم وعصى لمن يختار من عباده ويشاء، تبارك وتعالى العلى الأعلى، لا إله إلا هو له الأسماء الحسنى، لا بمعنى نزول رحـمـته وثوابه على ما ادعـتـه المعتزلة والأشعرية، لما روى عبادة الصامت رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول اللہ ﷺ: «ينزل الله تبارك وتعالى كل ليلة إلى سماء الدنيا حين يبقى ثلث الليل الآخر، فيقول: هل من سائل فيعطى سؤله؟ هل من مستغفر فيغفر له؟ هل من عان فيـفك عانيه؟ حتى يصبح الصبح، ثم يعلو ربنا تبارك وتعالى على كرسيه»( 8) On page 131 Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al Jilani said: “These verses and reports indicate that God’s speaks with a voice, not like the voice of humans, just as His knowledge, power, and the rest of His attributes do not resemble the attributes of humans, and so is His voice. Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy on him, stipulated the sound proof in the narration of a group of companions, may God be pleased with them all. Contrary to what the Ash’ari said that the word of God is a meaning that exists in Himself, and Allah hold to account every misguided innovator.” وهذه الآيات والأخبار تدل على أن كلام الله صوت لا كصوت الآدميين، كما أن علمه وقدرته وبقية صفاته لا تشبه صفات الآدميين، كذلك صوته . وقد نص الإمام أحمد رحمه الله على إثبات الصوت في رواية جماعة من الأصحاب رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين . خلاف ما قالت الأشعرية من أن كلام الله معنى قائم بنفسه، والله حسيب كل مبتدع ضال مضل، فالله سبحانه لم يزل متكلما وقد أحاط كلامه بجميع معاني الأمر والنهي والاستخبار 9) On page 127-128, the Imam says the Quran is the speech of Allah, how it is written, read and recited. From Allah it came from and to him it shall return. He says that whoever claims the Quran is an indication (ibara), or that the wording is created, he is a disbeliever. He is not to be mixed with, nor eaten with, nor married to, nor taken as a neighbour. Rather, he is boycotted, humiliated and not to be prayed behind. وقال عز وجل: (وإن أحد من المشركين استجارك فأجره حتى يسمع كلام الله ؟ [التوبة : 6 ] وكلام الله تعالى هو القرآن غير مخلوق كيفمـا قرىء وتلى وكتب، وكيفما تصرفت به قراءة قـارئ، ولفظ لافظ، وحفظ حافظ ، هو كلام الله وصفة من ذاته، غير محدث ولا مبدل ولا مغير ولا مؤلف ولا منقوص ولا مصنوع ولا مزاد فيه ، منه بدأ تنزيله، وإليـه يعود حكمه، كما قال النبی ﷺ، في حديث عثمان رضي الله عنه : «إن فضل القرآن على سائر الكلام كفضل الله على سائر خلقه»(۲) . وذلك أن القرآن منه تبارك وتعالى خرج وإليه يعود فمعناه: فمن زعم أنه مخلوق أو عبارته أو التلاوة غير المتلو، أو قال : لفظي بالقرآن مخلوق فهو كافر بالله العظيم، ولا يخالط ولا يؤاكل ولا يناكح ولا يجاور، بل يهجر ويهان ، ولا يصلى خلفه، ولا تقبل شهادته، ولا تصح ولايته في نكاح وليه، ولا يصلى عليه إذا مات، فإن ظفر به استتيب ثلاثا كالمرتد، فإن تاب وإلا قتل 10) On page 175 when mentioning the 72 sects of the hellfire, he mentions the kullabiyya (early asharis) as one of the sects. (فصل) فأصل ثلاث وسبعين فرقة عشرة: أهل السنة، والخوارج، والشيعة، والمعتزلة، والمرجئة، والمشبهة، والجهمية، والضرارية، والتجارية، والكلابية. فأهـل السنة طائفة واحـدة، والخوارج خمس عشرة فرقة، والمعتزلة ست فرق، والمرجئة اثنتا عشرة فرقة، والشيعة اثنتان وثلاثون فرقة، والجهمية والتجارية والضرارية والكلابية كل واحدة فرقة واحدة ، والمشبهة ثلاث فرق، فجميع ذلك ثلاث وسبعون فرقة على ما أخبر به النبی ﷺ

Shaykh Abdul-Qadir al Jilani رحمه الله was nowhere hear being an Ash'ari in his creed. These Super Sufis should read his books such as "Al-Ghunyah". They show his creed. His creed was that of the Hanbali creed.

@@mughal_r9374 "Conquering" was what the Mu'tazilah said, and this is what Abdul-Qadir al Jilani calls out the Asha'irah for.

@@mughal_r9374 They think they are better than mutazila in this matters. While in reality they are worse. "Conquering" is more suitable for Allah than " Rising over", "sitting", or "reside" At least , Mutazila interpretation, can be found in Asmaul Husna, " The conqueror" while theirs, i dont know, how can they choose the word " Raise over"? Was Allah lower before?

@@Ilyas-vl4dd You're either ignorant or duplicitous when you say "Ashari scholars say..." as you imply that ALL Ashari scholars say this (which they do not, indeed not even the majority say this). It's similar to saying that Salafi scholars say that Allah has limits just because a few do (e.g. Former Salafi Grand Mufti Ibn Baz)

@@trappedinexistence I don’t believe it’s shirk , I believe it can easily lead to shirk and it’s a door that should be closed . No need for istighatha to be taught to the ‘awwam. It’s best we preach Tawheed as Tawheed is slowly falling away from the Ummah

Bro, nobody asks other than Allah. But they make wasila of wali, because they believe nobody has ability to help independently except Allah. And wasila is permissible by the strong evidences from the book of ibn kathir and abdul qadir zilani. Don’t spread fithna before the upcoming Ramadan.

Imam Abdul Qaadir Jilani did not do ithbat ala Haqiqah, they did ithbat with Tafweed Al-Ma’na . Real Hanbalis are mufawids like ibn Rajab, Ibn Qudamah, Ibn Al-Jawzi etc….

Once again ignoring the evidences presented!! أما تستحون !! يصف الحق عز وجل نفسه بصفات يرضاها له، تتأولونها وتردونها عليه He literally refuted Tafweed in this one statement 🤦🏽‍♂️! As far Ibn Qudamah, you have taken one مبهم statement and properly are not aware, he wrote a whole treatise called اثبات صفة العلو al-maktaba.org/book/7268 فإن الله تعالى وصف نفسه بالعلو في السماء، ووصفه بذلك محمد خاتم الأنبياء، وأجمع على ذلك جميع العلماء من الصحابة الأتقياء والأئمة من الفقهاء، وتوارترت الأخبار بذلك على وجه حصل به اليقين، وجمع الله تعالى عليه قلوب المسلمين، وجعله مغروزا في طباع الخلق أجمعين، فتراهم عند نزول الكرب بهم يلحظون السماء بأعينهم، ويرفعون نحوها للدعاء أيديهم (2) ، وينتظرون مجيء الفرج من ربهم، وينطقون بذلك بألسنتهم لا ينكر ذلك إلا مبتدع غال في بدعته، أم مفتون (بتقليده) (3) واتباعه على ضلالته، وأنا ذاكر في الجزء بعض بلغني من الأخبار في ذلك عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وصحابته والأئمة (المقتدين) (4) بسنته على وجه يحصل القطع واليقين بصحة ذلك عنهم، ويعلم تواتر الرواية بوجوده منهم، ليزداد من وقف عليه (5) من المؤمنين إيمانا وينتبه من خفي عليه ذلك، حتى يصير كالمشاهد له عيانا، ويصير للمتمسك بالسنة حجة وبرهانا أَقْوَالُ الصَّحَابَةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُم)) (1) 48- قَدْ تَقَدَّمَتِ الرِّوَايَةُ عَنْ (2) عَدِيِّ بْنِ عُمَيْرَةَ الْعَبْدِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فَخَرَجْتُ مُهَاجِرًا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ يَسْجُدُونَ (3) عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ، وَيَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ إِلَهَهُمْ فِي السَّمَاءِ. وَهَذَا إِخْبَارٌ عَنْ جَمِيعِهِمْ (4) . 49- وَكَذَلِكَ خَبَرُ الْعَبْدِ الأَسْوَدِ حِينَ انْتَهَى إِلَى أَصْحَابِ (رَسُولِ اللَّهِ) (5) صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لِبَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا: رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ (6) . 50- وَكَذَلِكَ بِرِوَايِتِهِمُ الأَخْبَارَ الَّتِي رَوَوْهَا فِي هَذَا الْمَعْنَى، وَلَا شَكَّ فِي أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُصَدِّقِينَ بِهَا، مُعْتَقِدِينَ صِحَّتَهَا، وَكَذَلِكَ جَوَابُ مَنْ سَأَلَ مِنْهُمْ عَنِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى، فَقَالَ: هُوَ فِي السَّمَاءِ. ------------------ Imam Qudamah is transmitting a statement from Ibn Abdul Barr Al-Maliki in his book rejecting your position: قال ابو عمر اهل السنة مجمعون على الإقرار بالصفات الوارده كلها في القرآن والسنة والإيمان بها وحملها على الحقيقة لا على المجاز الا انهم لا يكيفون شيئا من ذلك ولا يحدون فيه صفة محصورة واما اهل البدع الجهمية والمعتزلة كلها والخوارج فكلهم ينكرها ولا يحمل منها شيئا قال والدليل على صحة قول اهل الحق قوله عز وجل الرحمن على العرش استوى وقوله تعالى ثم استوى على العرش وقال سبحانه أأمنتم من في السماء وقال اليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه وقال يخافون ربهم من فوق وقال يدبر الأمر من السماء الى الأرض ثم يعرج اليه وقال تعالى تعرج الملائكه والروح اليه وقال وهو القاهر فوق عباده وقال ياعيسى اني متوفيك ورافعك الي وقال بل رفعه الله اليه وقد اخبر الله تعالى في موضعين من كتابه عن فرعون انه قال يا هامان ابن لي صرحا لعلي ابلغ الأسباب اسباب السموات فأطلع الى اله موسى واني لأظنه كاذبا يعني اظن موسى كاذبا في ان له اله في السماء هذه الآيه تدل على ان موسى عليه السلام كان يقول ان الهي في السماء وفرعون يظنه كاذبا قال ومن الحجه عليهم ايضا في انه على العرش فوق السموات

What kind of proof do you want Ibn Hajar Al Haytami to provide. If he's telling you it has been tampered with, you should investigate instead of asking the audience. We know books of the Hanbali scholars have been tampered with and still are to this day, look at tafsir ibn kathir and how some editions have major changes under the verse 4:64 wjere evidence for istighatha is removed

In one book he say do not make tashbiyh or tajsiym (tafwiyd ijmaal). In another book he is not doing tafwiyd bi laa kayf wa laa ma'gna (ijmaal) likening ALLAAH throwing like a boy throwing a ball with his hand and such? Seems Shaykh Ibn Hajar Al-Haysthaamiy RHM is correct in his assesment. There is clear discrepencies there. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

if you’re hanbali you pretty much are athari. Imam Ahmad was an athari why follow a madhab if you’re not going to be a part of the same aqeedah as the founder.

@@billystanfield300 for orthodoxy(أهل السنة و الجماعة) there are 3 doctrinal schools, Asharis, Maturidis and Hanbalis

@@LeekyKale with all due respect, asharis and maturidi understanding was not the way of the prophet ﷺ sahaba,salaf, or 4 imams i consider the majority to be apart of aswj but we have to be just and realise in regards to certain issues of aqeedah they are wrong. i dont claim salafiyya but athari is probably the closest to what we’re going to get to fundamental pure islam.
