The issue is connected to the bigger trend of commercialising Islam from which things will slip in the background! If any point you ask the ummah for money then you need to be transparent! #brohajji #sadaqah #islam

Brother Hajji has produced another excellent video. Keep up the great work, brother. The influence of capitalism and consumerism, as propagated by liberal ideology, impacts us all within our environment. We must remain vigilant against these influences encroaching upon our Islamic duties. Brother Hajji raises pertinent questions worth considering.

This brother really puts in effort because he clearly has much passion for Allah and His messenger and this beautiful deen of islaam al-hamdu-lillah... Allahumma baarik feehaa, this brother is blessed in my opinion. I love you for the sake of Allah brother Muhammad Safdar (aka Bro Hajji), but that doesn't mean I am not peeved you haven't answered back for a long time on Insta hahahahahahaha holler me back inshaa'Allah... I know I monologued a fair bit and explained that is because of my autism (Asperger's syndrome) and the crap I have recently gone through after around 18 years of marriage and 5 children... I have been feeling very traumatised for quite some time because of it, but I am feeling far better; I see it is obviously what is best for me, as whatever Allah decrees is always what is best... I just needed to focus on this fact deeply becausse as I am sure every brother who goes through this or has gone through this kind of thing knows emaan goes up and down dramatically during such a painful experience in life... It is important, during such times, that we focus deeply on such facts as this and things such as the fact Allah alone knows what our future holds for us by His decree and if we trust Allah and are obedient to Him then He will give us whatever He sees fit to grant us and we will eventually be content so long as we obey Allah and strive to earn His pleasure and don't have any outstanding tawbah. "O Allah reward brother Muhammad Safdar for his intentions and efforts and preserve him and increase his knowledge, wisdom and insight, and make him a light from whom the ummah will benefit greatly in this era and after he leaves this world for as long as You see fit, ameen"

The Imams of Masjids in most part of Indian Subcontinent receive a meagre salary of 40 - 50 Dollars for a month... I mean they too have to earn and support their families... This is pathetic..On one side Millions of Dollars are being spent for organizing Islamic talks of prominent speakers and on the other side we have Muslim Imams who live a life of misery. The Muslim Ummah around the globe needs a complete reform, otherwise there seems no hope for the same.

Because the fuqahaa did not need to discuss rullings of (imams) living on a payroll in a land other than that of islam of which the rullings of being a resident are pretty clear with its context. Rather the ruler through the wizaar awqaaf is meant to stipulate a salary to all civil servents(even the caller to prayer) serving the state including the managing & running through obligation of necessity ; all islamic institutes & mosques as was done in the past

Bro Hajji is no longer playing around, very good vid. Apparently Ali Dawah is making a waqf- he says that at the start of his videos. In addiction to receipts, we need a full income statement indicating how much is collected and how it is spent. I don't know the Islamic rulings on waqfs, but can they be put solely for the sake of the public and not on anyone's names? Brother can you also look into a certain youtuber called Daud Kim from South Korea? It is alleged he took funds to build a masjid in S Korea, but is going to build himself a house and a salaah room.

Bro Hajji - question for clarification: I understand that organisations that raise money through the ummah by way of sadaqah must be fully transparent, but why are Muslim marriage coaches, and by extension, any Muslim coach, painted with the same brush? They are not charities, they are businesses. They do not 'use Islam to make money' like Dawah man and the badr club clearly do in their insulting advertising. They are simply marriage coaches for Muslims lol. Another example would be life coaches, productivity coaches or leadership coaches for Muslims. The same thing here - Muslims prefer to work with Muslims because they get the Islamic side to it and not just the non-Muslim Tony Robbins type side to it. I don't understand why these are being put under the same light unless of course their marketing is like Dawah man's. I'd love to hear why you've categorised them under the same umbrella as they are not 'commercializing Islam'

These people most likely sacrificed their lives (large percentage of there years) on learning and teaching the deen I think its okay for them to earn as a source of livelihood. These people, usually are not looked after by the community via of sadaqah jariyah because people are not learned on supporting the ulamah, they are people - like us, with families to feed - like us so if they want to capitalise on some of there content and by my knowledge forgive me if I'm wrong its usually not a lot based on a subscription type payment plan most of the time, let them be.
