Great video! Thanks for posting it. Do you know what grade of stainless steel the Baron has for its components? Burners, Flav-R-Wave plates, rotisserie burner, inside and outside of the lid, side shelves, doors, front panel. I know the cooking grates are 304 (magnet won't stick to it) but I don't know what the rest of it is made of. I know my parents broil king sovereign XLS 90 is all 430 stainless steel (a magnet sticks to everything) except for the cooking grates are 304. I'm just curious if the higher end models such as the Baron use more 304 stainless.

Hi will I just gay a broil king baron 490 ir, I love it but I’m disappointed that it has no safety pilot light, I have to make sure that the gas is always turned of when not in use,

Very nice if it’s built like the BK smokers then it’ll be decent. My old six burner Nexgrill with rotisserie is 14 years old still like new because it’s made from stainless steel lives outside in all weathers. Needs a service and a couple of new knobs. Might treat myself to one of these for Christmas looking forward to seeing it in use. 👍

Hi how has the grill stood up over time. Iv been after a new grill for a while. I started off on a low budget of 300 pounds then moved onto the charbroil tru infrared. Went off those lol then liked the look of the campingaz onyx at 600 and now iv jumped to the broil king baron 590 at 1200. I'm in turmoil ha. Would you recommend this grill after having it a while or should I save some dosh and just get a cheaper one. Cheers

No issues with build quality its held up fine. for the money i dont think there is anything else out there as good.

@@WillsGrillShack thanks for the reply it's most appreciated. I actually saw the onyx in person yesterday and I am worried about the longevity of it. I know you get what you pay for and the baron comes with the rotisserie and a cover. 2 things I'd still have to purchase if a bought something else so the gap gets just that bit smaller. Maybe I should buy what I really want. Thanks for the help

Premium quality !! Hell no! They grill perfect but they rust!! I got at Baron 490, 3 years old and everything in the burnerbox is almost rusted away. A shame really as it is a nice and good grill. I’m never going to buy another Broil King.

I have a Baron also. I spray mine with canola oil after every use. Looks great. 5 years old. I keep it covered when not in use.
