I think I'll take the new Tacoma there, it's supposed to snow tomorrow.

Nice country for sure. Good trail to test out your sliders and skid plates. Good points about having a slower Crawl Control speed, and about it not being an off-road cruise control! And you're right about algorithms, and how much time it takes to edit and post videos.

It's just beautiful country for sure. I tell ya, I've had a ton of cars and this 4runner is still my favorite.

Nice video. Appreciate the lack of background music, POV camera. Lest we forget the pretty lady.

You ride some really nice trails. Here on the island of Oahu, there is NOTHNG close to the trails you ride!

What kind of clearance are you getting on that? I’m loving so much of Sedona, and I’m a tad over 10in. Done a couple things out there but pretty sure broken arrow might mean broken truck for me. At least till I maybe add a bit more height. Great ride video.

My 4Runner is stock height

@@ScrambleNorth oh Nice (for me). You just made me even more excited about some of the trails! Be careful out there and keep up the great videos!

@@ScrambleNorth nice work! I think I’ll skip that one until I get a bit more armor. Hahaha. Right now clearance is my Achilles Heel. Other than clearance I think she could do it. But I only have 10ish inches and the armor is mostly still the factory armor until JCR finishes their prototypes and gets it all into production. Our Bronco Sports are finally getting some love. Not to mention I’m still getting my experience up to the level of the vehicle in the first place. Enjoyed the video.

Well I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2022 4Runner in Lime Rush not to Wild about the color but I like that it checks most of the boxes. Questions for you how are the tires 275 70 17R doing do they fit ok on stock suspension with out rubbing on trail ? Rock sliders you went with were angled, some people like flat would you go the same style ? Looking for ideas as this will be a daily driver but also my hunting truck. What Mods would you do first ? Thanks again TC
@ScrambleNorth2 жыл бұрын
I’m still loving the Falken tires, I went with angled because I didn’t want my 4Runner to be any wider than necessary. Honestly besides that, mine is very stock.

@@ScrambleNorth When you put the new rims did they add additional offset ? TC I never see your traction boards unless you have your trailer ? I also noticed you don’t use roof rack much is it because it kills MPG ?
@ScrambleNorth2 жыл бұрын
The stock roof rack is fairly useless, and I have never been a fan of putting things up on the roof anyhow. And I have never use the traction boards for anything other than to level my trailer, lol. I don’t carry them with me because, I guess I went my whole life without those things even being in existence. I do carry recovery gear, straps, D rings, shovel and such. I believe the method wheels I have are zero offset, I do not know what offset the stock wheels are.

@@ScrambleNorth awesome thanks! My wife just got a TRD off-road and trying to decide on lift/tires. Currently considering a 1 inch front lift to match your pro and 275’s
@joseperezpaz99862 жыл бұрын
@@TheReligiousLeft you’ll be able to fit 285/70r17 if you do 1” front lift. That’s what have on my Pro with no rubbing issues even when off-roading. 🤙🏽
