The proof that you are really talented is to use a brush which is a man with a sword and having results like this. amazing.

Your videos...... I'm at a loss of words... Your process, it seems is one of a kind. For an amateur like me, it's very easy to understand what you are doing, and I daresay, I can follow you if I tried.... It's extremely motivational, brilliantly easy, not to mention the end result makes you actually want to try it on your own... It's also inspirational. Thank you!! Please keep doing this for the rest of us! By the way, you ARE making irregular shapes as and how you like right? You're not following a plan, like most others seem to be doing....?????
@JordanGrimmer4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I appreciate it alot. And yeah, I'm just making whatever shapes I want from my head, not really following any sort of plan apart from trying to build shape and form!

Mesmerising as always!! Do you always have a final image in mind or is alot of it experimental? I get myself so worked up trying to conjure up magnificent images that I usually end up with a blank canvas..Doh!😬🤯😭

how do you come up with these amazing landscapes? Do you just imagine it? Or do you have a reference image or mix of images that you combine?
@JordanGrimmer4 жыл бұрын
With fun paintings like this I just imagine them and then just let the sketching process just go from there. I definitely then refer to references when it comes to getting certain parts of a landscape looking right though.

Hey Jordan, are you going to do a Patreon or something? It would be great to hear/see you break some of your techniques down! Super inspired. I'm just trying to get my head around the colour selection tool you use throughout your paintings (I've slowed your videos down to 0.25 the speed! Keep posting! Looking forward to more of your paintings... I also bought that book you recommended 'Colour and Light'. Really, really useful. Thanks again.
@chrisdesrocher42942 жыл бұрын
The values in this are AMAZING. How are you making those crazy selections? Hard to tell at this speed if it's just layers, sometimes looks like you're using threshold or something more than the magic wand.

Hey I was just wondering what you use in order to keep educating yourself. Do you buy tutorials on Artstation, subscribe to schoolism, use cubebrush, use udemy, use linkedin learning, use skillshare, use gumroad? The list goes on there's so many ... I was wondering if you're using any of the resources available for learning? Maybe you have a different idea as to tackle the difficulties of trying to push your skill. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. Thank you.
