Hi, take your blown fuse and solder 2 wires to (say) an indicator light globe. (Should draw about 1A) When chasing a short - like your mirror wiring, it will go to full brightness when you have a short. (Good for finding intermittent shorts in a loom when you wriggle it) Saves blowing a whole box of fuses with a tricky problem. Cheers

Your so lucky Daniel can repair cars my husband is a retired butcher and knows nothing about cars. Lucky for us although we bought a second hand caravan we do have a brand new car. Fingers crossed we never break down. We are leaving Melbourne in August for WA. Haven’t seen my daughter in 2 years now so can’t wait to see her in WA. Hey Dan, you mentioned in the Vid about getting NRMA assistance. Well done sorting out the electrical issue by the way. Can you get any form of Roadside Assist for these Iveco's. We pickup our Daily next week and haven't found any Insurance Company (RAC etc) willing to take on these vehicles for Assist, usually because of their weight & size. Any suggestions ? Great Channel...

Thanks so much! Glad to hear you are enjoying the vids! How exciting picking up your Iveco! We have Ultimate (or Premium, whatever the top tier is 😂) Roadside Assistance with NRMA. They haven't got an issue helping us when needed and even tow our van where it needs to go! We've used it a couple times without a question! Also if you're looking for insurance, we just changed to Ken Tame and they were fab with the Iveco and all the extras etc! 😁👍

Recently did a 3000klm round trip Gero to Esperance , Albany ,Denmark , Augusta, Perth and home to Geraldton. Didn't have any problems with my VY Wagon ! Just saying !😎👍

Our first time watching your travels after being made aware by a friend who is buying your Internet setup. We really enjoyed this first experience and have subscribed to your channel. We have a couple of suggestions for you. Instead of Bushman’s insect spray you might like to try Nature’s Botanical Personal Insect Repellent. It’s a mixture of Rosemary and Cedarwood Oils. It smells delicious and we find it is really effective, and no nasty chemicals being absorbed by your body. When you were doing the snatch recovery it wasn’t clear how far away the guy standing near the car being recovered was standing. It looked like the strap broke at one stage and having seen videos of the damage a broken snatch strap can do, any observers should be at least the length of the strap away from both vehicles. Was a bit concerned that even the camera person was too close but hard to tell from the video. We’re looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Cheers, David & Wendy

Aww that is so kind of you, thank you so much for the offer. This one was a couple months ago ( we are a little behind 🤦‍♀️). We think we have sorted it to be a fused link at the battery and have just recently finally sourced a replacement.

Lol, always buying more fuses! This one was a special Iveco 500amp fused link, a really odd one that we have bypassed to get us through until being able to get our hands on it. 🤦‍♀️
