Broken Kartt Jockey Wheel

Glad you’ve got it sorted, I could go into the whole speed / rpm stuff but that’s for another time! A bit of engineering and some nice glass filled nylon and that existing wheel would be as good as new, keep hold of it and get friendly with an engineer 😉 probably not really a Kartt issue. I agree, but this is an issue which seems to be very common so instead of using nylon, a set of bearing would solve this problem . Thanks for watching 👍

Looks like you have sorted out a fix for £24 which on the face of it is the equivalent of one night camping. Gotta be happy with that ! I'll be good to see you back on the road. Are you heading to Suffolk this summer ? Trev

Hi Mark I was under the impression those Kart jockey wheels are the dogs doo das, I wasn’t aware people were experiencing problems. My Swift has the original 12 years old OE jockey wheel. No problems with it, I don’t have motor movers so it has an easy life. Interested to see how you get on.

I always thought these kart jockey wheels we designed not to drop down when all the hype was around about these jockey wheels hopefully you’ll have better luck with the replacement. Mark & Hazel

Yup, that replacement jockey wheel was a bit smaller than the original. At least it was just the wheel that was damaged and it didn't affect the jack mechanism.

That’s disappointing, time consuming and not very good. I’ve had no experience of the Kartt JW to be honest, we were always happy with our Alko. I hope you get back on the road and away very soon! 😊 Karina
