With the release of Gen 9 Indigo Disk DLC, the meta game has been vastly changing every minute and now old broken Pokemon from the teal mask singles meta game are now no longer seeming like the top tier of Pokemon. Gliscor and Ogerpon wellspring mask specifically seem less ban-worthy and way more manageable than ever before. Q: How are the sprites looking like generation 5?
A: Click the settings button and you can change the sprite display
Q: Why is the gameplay have the opponent being dumb?
A: Well surprise its me playing as the opponent as well and having Pokemon faint every 5 seconds isn't as fun as seeing the Pokemon do something in the battle for some time, which is why the gameplay seems like the opponent is braindead. Although I have taken some feedback and have tried to make it more interesting as possible without making the Pokemon faint every 5 seconds for hopefully better entertainment.

Before watching the video, I was going to tell you that it is normal in beginning of new meta that some mons are forgotten or not adapt yet, but I must admit you have some good points. Gliscor is still very annoying, however you have even more mons that can exploit his "must use protect every 2 turns" syndrom, such as serperior. Also some threats like ice beam darkrai are now pretty good against it. It's still a bas**** pokémon, but less than before if you have the right tools to deal against it. For ogerpon, I think it's still pretty strong, but more underrated. You still have ivy cudgel that hits very strong. But, like gliscor, you have more tools to deal with it such as archaludon. Furthermore, those are still good in the metagame, but less alarming than they were before dlc. Nice video as always! :)

This concept is the exact reason I think some Pokémon banned to Ubers early on in the meta game should get re-tested in the current meta.

They were, for example Gliscor was banned to Ubers and was unbanned. :P Same with Volcarona plus it's the reason behind the Darkrai and Deo-D / Deo-S unbans (Deo-S I imagine is probably gone by late January tbh). Baxcalibur on the other hand was banned, and has since been BUFFED since its ban.

Venusaur is a hard counter, Ogerpon W gets walled and in sun Venusaur can either play tactics like its wide arsenal of status moves or just destroy it with sludge bomb

Well for GT, rapid spin EQ CC, and Ice spinner BE sets have been pretty popular as well with knock off. Its basically back to its old playstyle and often uses pivotal moments in matches to get off rapid spin and just deal heavy damage. EQ for obvious ground coverage, CC for obv fighting coverage and ice spinner for those popular Rillaboom and Serp running around in the tier. BE in speed and attack are pretty good and ive seen both share of variations. Glad though u love the analysis ❤️ and ya i think u should hop on and play the meta! No better way to learn and have fun than right now!

Imo Gliscor is just as viable and do the exakt same role it had before. You could argue there are more Mons that beat it. But you can't cherry pick match up when the role is to stack hazards and not stay in Vs those specific match ups.

I think the main point is that the formally very hard to break Ghouldengo Gliscor defensive core is now much easier to break with the introduction of better wallbreakers, and that's a legitimate argument to make.

I feel like no mask Ogerpon has some untapped utility since it gets the speed boost when tera'd. You could then u-turn out and do massive damage to those pure grass counters. It still has a lot of the same coverage and could maybe hold a life orb or something to boost its damage a bit more. You'd lose the benefit of the water type, sure, but ting lu and great tusk would still be under threat. And then with that speed boost you're faster than Roaring Moon and can get out of there. There's probably a ton of problems with it that I'm not thinking of but it's worth a shot I think.

The coverage it gets in superpower and knock off also shouldn't be underestimated. They're not extremely spammable, and it still gets pretty easily countered by flying and fire types but with the speed boost and an extremely powerful ivy cudgel or wood hammer it can break through a lot

Raging Bolt is a stupid ass special Kingambit, excellent bulk, gets taunt and calm mind forcing stupid 50/50s where you get thunderclapped or you switch and they calm mind, can just Draco on ground types and dip. Gouging Fire is an insanely splashable mon due to its set variety as a bulky pivot or late game cleaner with its good coverage, dragon dance and morning sun to sustain it can set up nearly anywhere for free.

@@lucasalarcon3230 while Dragon/Elec isn't as good as steel/dark defensively, it is still a good defensive profile with resistances to fire, water, grass, steel, flying and quad elec, also ground types don't get in for free on Bolt, tera ice gives it no mono-type resists and makes normal counters easy pickings, also it gets solar beam, which couples well with its ability, which yeah let's talk about that. Why even mention supreme overlord? It's a great ability and all, but Bolt gets photosynthesis, which just raw boosts it's SpA by 30% at any point in the game and can also be triggered by a held item just in case, no need to have your whole team dead before you do stuff. I really don't know what your hate boner for Bolt is about, but yeah the dude is extremely similar in function to Kingambit with excellent base stats, a great typing, good Moveset variety, forces some potentially game winning 50/50s on a frequent basis, and functions well in a variety of team setups.

Archaludon has a very specific way to play it that can be very difficult to pull off. You have to switch it into a physical attack that it resists, get the Stamina boost to be able to resist further hits, then pray to Arceus that you can leverage that boost for something (either a predicted switch-in attack or launch a Body Press) because if you don't get that leverage then Archaludon isn't going to achieve much/anything. And on top of this, you ideally should attempt this on a Rain team for no-chargeup Electro Shot boosts while which forces a coin toss between "switch in a Ghost to negate Body Press vs switch in a Ground type to negate Electro Shot", where hopefully you win because you either flatten something for a good hit or get a free Sp.Attack boost regardless of the Electro Shot hitting or not. Of course, if you play it in that extremely specific way...Archaludon is very mid. And it's really obvious that's how you're going to use it based on team preview being team preview.

Gambit and Gholdengo are both banned, gliscor was never up for discussion of being banned because the natdex council aren’t braindead. And Gliscor is stronger in natdex cause it still has roost still not banned.
