I really love the game and the whole franchise. Surprisingly I started with BS3 which was 3D, but the story and the inclusion of the Templars, Voynich Manuscript and the ley lines was really immersive and made me research all of that! If ther is anyone who hasn't played Broken Sword games I really recommend all of them!

I've played all 5 official releases and liked all to different degrees...though 4 was weak

I loved this game when it first came out. I was only 10 and took me about a year to complete. I think its a shame they took out the deaths and i played in French and it sounded like some of the lines were phoned it, the sound change was quiet jarring

Love Broken Sword from when i was a kid. Especially the first 2 chapters, the drawnings are AMAZING. Also, for those who are playing th first 2 chapters, you can listen to some music from Nico room stereo (probably in the first game?).

Ah, I wondered you the narrator for the broken sword trailer was! I saw it on a demo disc (I think) and it blew my tiny mind! Felt like a trailer for a noir detective action movie 🍿

I first played this game thanks to a PS1 demo disc, it captivated me and started my love affair for point and click adventure games although my selection was quite limited having only a PS1 I did get to play classics like of course Broken Sword 2, the Discworld games and X-Files plus many more and I did eventually get a 486, Windows 95 PC where I got to indulge in so many more games

If I were a bigger fan of adventure games, I would play the shit out of it. It looks like a cool synthesis of a whole bunch of influences.

I actually bought a Walkthrough booklet just for the goat puzzle, after being stuck for days on it. Remake is supposed to come out by the end of the year (2024). I also hope they'll port Beneath a Steel Sky to console.

It is funny that you said that you wanted a remake of Broken Sword is closer to the 2D art style of Broken Sword as that is what we are getting thanks to AI generated art to help with the in-between animations.

Ive started to play the Directors Cut of Broken Sword....kind of liking it. Hints system is pretty good, the Nicole start is different, not really certain about the sliding lock puzzles though

Awesome video, exactly what I was looking for. Even though I own this game for the wii, I actually started playing this game when I started getting into gba emulation. I'm probably going to check out the ps1 version.

@@InfoGuyGaming The Video Games 1980s, 1990s and 2000s looks better on C.R.T. monitors. The reason is because they were made with C.R.T. monitors in mind

Big fan of the original. Tried out the remake and hated it, didn't even bother to finish it.

The review decent, drop the cut aways boring and derivative This will allow you to SLOW DOWN. You’re uncomfortable to listen to. It feels like you are racing to the next opportunity to be “funny” rather than trusting your content- which would be good if you SLOWED DOWN

You deceived me! I read Templar and thought this was dragon age too... now I have to stand here and watch a very well presented review of a game I don`t care about. skipped the spoiler review though. I think I`ll check it out. Is the rest of the series any good? 5:18 that freaking clown is my sleep paralysis demon

The second game is ok from what I remember, though the series starts to go down hill from the third game. There's like 5 game in the series I think.
