Great movie. Even though it is old, it still has relevance today. The stories are brilliantly told in that they lend credence to the messages being conveyed. Van Vicker from the get go was so unbelievably unfriendly to his new neighbour, Kate. He brushed her off following her attempt to be neighbourly. These are some of my favourite actors. Grace is my girl.

At first I felt sorry for her after the first punch, but when the 2nd and 3rd I gave up feeling sorry for her because she should have left him then. The end of the movie was superb as she finally smelled the coffee and get rid of his tired behind. I just love the way it ended. Ladies look, these are real life lessons that we are all learning. When a man hit u once, do not believe him as he is going to hit u again. If this movie does not teach anyone anything, then stay with a beater until he kills u. Just saying!
