A safety note from the old days, primarily when we didn't have power steering. When you grip the steering wheel keep your thumbs outside of the wheel. If a tire catches something quickly it can spin the steering wheel hard and fast. If your thumb is inside the steering wheel when it spins from the tire it can break your thumb.

No jerking back and forth and more control of towed vehicle. Of coarse it won't work in every instance for you but different brackets could be fabricated. Axle clamps, even magnets. On the military trucks the Pintle swivels and helps with articulation also. Just a thought.

My opinion again is that while you are towing anything that is swaying, that you need something between you tow vehicle and the other vehicle , say maybe a 4 ft. Piece of 2” pipe, which you could run a chain thru to keep the vehicles separated while towing over rough ground, think about it ,maybe 2 X the pipe, chain, my opinion but might save some equipment on your vehicle and save the radiator and lights on the other. . Just my thoughts and opinion.great videos by the way.👍

I don't know why people would say that those low friction fairleads on the wreckers boom won't work. Yeah, they may not be as gentle on the ropes as an outer recovery boom head but they will work fine. If you were pulling the rope through them faster or did a lot of really heavy pulls, then no, they would burn your ropes up too fast, but the jobs you do with the wrecker, as we've all seen, the ropes will last a long time.

Kaulin is really growing into a professional, it’s fun to see. Rhett is such a little brother, the energy he brings is fun. Always wanted a little brother. Katelyn is a very talented and skilled driver with a great attitude. Jake’s got infectious positive energy, especially when learning skills. Colby sometimes pops up with a whole lot of personality, and his contributions to the camera work especially with the drone work has helped level up the channel’s content. I’m sure I’m missing someone. But on the whole, my point is that the whole team is great to watch.

That was quite the recovery. Good job Katelyn on the backwards steering and braking. Ingenious way of towing the axel to you to pick it up. Great job by everyone.
