Hey Susan, I'm actually playing the melody part from the recording of the song in the background so that you can hear the harmony in comparison. But what I'm singing is much louder. And I show you multiple harmonies so that guys and gals can both find these tutorials useful.

The oh’s are just the same notes as the lead? So you just get the high melody and the low melody an octave down?

No! The ohs I gave were a harmony to what the lead is doing.

Lifehouse Worship i tried them with the song myself and it seemed to be the same as the lead. Maybe I started off too high and ended up in unison

Lifehouse Worship do you have any tips with finding the harmony? I know you can listen for it in the chords, which works. But it’s difficult

@@_Pix_ It is definitely tough to learn to hear them, and it takes time, practice and patience for sure! And yes, knowing an instrument like acoustic or piano will help you hear the different notes together and train your ear to hear them better. But just keep practicing! The melody starts on the oh's on a G note, the harmony I'm doing starts on a D.
