For the second woman who is dealing with rejection, it just shows you that looks do not matter. She is so beautiful and that guy still did not want to talk to her. So I am guessing that they hooked up on the cruise and when he got home, he came back to his partner/spouse/gf etc and just saw her as a fling maybe. Now if they did not hook up but they just hung out on the cruise, he met someone else or wasnt into a relationship as he thought he would be.

I wasn't making any excuses, I was simply stating the potential backlash that girl may have due to her flip phone. It's sad that some children can be so vicious towards others due to what they lack but unfortunately, there's a great possibility that she may endure it. If her mom is going to go the flip phone route, she must be prepared to have the bullying conversation with her. In a perfect world, yes, children will be more empathetic towards others but since we're definitely not in one, the message is important but it's also important to be prepared.
