As a top 50 Pyke in my server I'll say my opinion due to no one asking for it. Personally, Pyke is better with electro + green runes (shield when low + second wind + anti cc) + the anti cc from yellow ones. I don't like glacial on him as you can't build hp to increase slow and it's very inneficient in general. The red ones are great, but it's useless in most cases as you'll die if you get cced. Also, the sickle item supp is the most efficient one (I made the calculations LMAO) in terms of damage and as they have only 2 levels now is very easy to charge it anyways. If you're going against 2 ranged /very aggresive bot, go coin otherwise sickle is always better.

Actually i had the exact same question a few weeks ago let me explain: Overgrowth gives you a % extra HP after 30 stacks right? turns out this is canceled and it won't get '' converted '' into AD. The HP = AD convertion ratio is super bad so turns out that Gathering storm is 120% more efficient

Also to people who want this skin, the calculations were 7500 wild cores I think. If you are not ready to spend that amount of wild cores on a skin, don’t do it. Please don’t look at is as “I might get skin earlier” with gambling, you should ALWAYS assume the worst. So just think of it as a 7500 wild core skin. To put into perspective that’s 5 legendary skins with more to spare. You could get the entire highnoon skin line and have leftover cores. Not everyone is papa broken, getting 1k orange essence in 3 single pulls, I spent 6k wild cores on this :’)

Have you tried transcendence rune as final rune? What are your thoughts on it? I like it a bit more than gathering storm mainly due to the cdr. Spam so much skill 2 and skill 3 late game. Very nice with ancient coin item.

As alway I love you style to make WR content. Thanks for your work. I can’t play pyke as good as you but I been carrying with Seraphine lately. That champ it’s just insane. With first strike + ludens you get an amazing power spike. So, my runes are FS + Yellow branch ( Gathering storm + coup de grace (or GS) + alacrity. Secondary rune is transcend for ability CDR. Support item is Coin to get more CDR. Core items are mana boots + ludens + orb. So basically the play style is to take advantage of seraphine’s passive that gives you range and damage that scale on AP. So with FS you assure a great lane phase and gold, GS enables you to scales to infinite so never get useless. Plus the passive and W gives you great TFs to secure objectives. You can spam the Q to poke and charge the passive. The R is just broken because of the reduced map size and bc usually players in Wr tend to group to much when they fight. The R works as well as anti diving if you’re under tower and even you could get a kill. The other thing that I like, it’s that you have a great wave clear if your teammates don’t know how to play the map or your team is behind and you need to farm quickly.
