Looks great, man! I'll have to go look out at the farm. There are a ton of wild roses out there. I've never thought to gather the rose hips, though. Thanks for the inspiration!

High in vitamin C! I haven't ever harvested them. I have some rose bushes, but I dont know the history of what they used on them before we bought our place.

You can often find wild ones along tree lines or in natural prairie areas too! If they were treated it could be in the soil for 4-5 years, but levels should be low if weeds can grow in the area and bugs are in the soil. If you are still skeptical many hardware stores have soil test kits too

Yes inside of the rose hips are little tiny hairs... they are very irritating to the skin and throat so you must sift them out! I don’t have the patience to be a Dr. and I haven’t had them by themselves I just add in other tea
