Watching your videos inspires and motivates me to ride my Brompton daily. Thank you.

Beautiful scenery, thank you. Bonus history lesson, too! I love how so many places in Japan look different, but they all have the essence of Japanese culture. The seaside setting reminded me that I should return to Atami one day, where I can ride the bus uphill, then ride zig-zag downhill, then repeat for a different route ... Atami is a really interesting town. I hope you make some more videos soon.

Lovely, just lovely! Like a meditation on cycling, in a beautiful place. Will likely watch this a number of times in the Future, while looking forward to my own trip to 日本.

Thanks again for such a nice Brompton Travel Video! It is a bit like watching a movie in a theater - so nice the editing and the music. I like the revealing drone shot at the end the best. I apreciate all the information at the end. What can I say, I am a fan or your work. PS: Oh, please allow your Brompton under your tarp next time you camp, it earns a dry place to sleep, if you ask me ;-)

The drone shot with the Mount Fuji in the background looks fantastic

Beautiful and interessting trip, Takuya, and again awesome footage! And always funny, the Brompton Tool mic! :) I'd like to say, that, when you set the tarp diagonal, you're more protected, but in the morning, you did this allready! :) I quess, I would also choose the lighter 2 speed Brompton, cause nothing speaks against pushing his bike sometimes! :) Ride on dude, Rich
@takujadebun4 жыл бұрын
Hey Rich! Im happy to see your message:) Yop i was little hesitated the form of Tarp at the night and changed finally. If you buy your brompton especially if you dont live in the mountain area i recommend 2 speed brompton, cuz its more simple and light weight. Thank you always Rich;)
@Richans4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, and even that I live in a mountain area, I would take this 2 speed, my Dahon K3 also has only 3 speed, so one more or less doesn't matter! :)

Hi Takuya . I always enjoy your videos I would like to know what your original Brompton model was when you bought it and what modifications you have carried out so far Thanks
@takujadebun4 жыл бұрын
Hi Danny! Its Brompton W12 S-handle 2speed model. i changed a lot, seatpost, grip, seat, rear carrier, crank and so on..
@dannykahan63324 жыл бұрын
Thanks Takuya W12 was a great idea , but at 188 cm height , I have always precluded an S version as being unsuitable for me Have Noted that your bar end extensions and grips give a better angle and position for a taller rider which may help me. I will look at this with a local distributor here in the UK. Once again many thanks and keep on with The videos which are both cool and calming

Awesome dude thanks. I do the same thing, except I would recommend the hennessy expedition 4 season hammock system. It is very reasonably priced and ships to Japan too, and is the highest quality hammock sleep system I've found.
@takujadebun3 жыл бұрын
Thanks!!! I really love Hennessy expedition 4 season as well. but its little bigger and heavier than hamming bird one. but you are right, the comfortability is yes hennessy is better..
@100toeface3 жыл бұрын
@@takujadebun you are right. I got the Hennessy Hyperlite version and it is about half the size of the four season and more practical to carry bikepacking.

Hi Takuya. Is that a Vincita rear rack bag you got there? And it clips on the the original Brompton rear rack in true second part of your video?

Hi, saw you suddenly have a rear rack mounted on your brompton, when you on the way to the camp site, any info on the rear rack? Is it so easy to install till you install during your trip instead of permanently?

Hi:) as i mentioned at the end, i gave up this trip once and tried again this trip with rear carrier and camping gear. The rear carrier i use is H&H titanium Rear carrier. Its quite easy to install btw.

For hilly slopes, perhaps you should consider to upgrade crank-set 44T ?
@takujadebun3 жыл бұрын
yes, that is what im considering recently... install 44T crank set w. 3or4 speed..
@beachstart3 жыл бұрын
@@takujadebun I have a 2speed and I just got a double chainring (52 / 38) for the front chainwheel (sorry don't really know how to call it) but I have to change from one 52 to the 38 by hand when needed. You have to stop and you need a little stick to do so, so it is not very conveniend or elegant. But it is a very light solution, you don't need extra cables and it is easy to install - so my theory, I have not installed or used it yet.
@takujadebun3 жыл бұрын
@@beachstart You make sense. the customize Brompton is kind of drug for me, like you cannot stop even you want to stop. I will keep this setting for 2021 and if i really really needed, i will change the crank set then.
