I would not have a problem if they took a shot at Nix or McCarthy at pick 12. And then again, if they CAN find a partner to trade back, and maybe get Nix, McCarthy or one of the 'questionable' QBs with a later pick, or get a Quality Edge-rusher or possibly Bower (if he's still available). Again, I'm not very confident in our circumstances or positioning in this year's Draft, with the lack of resources to use to get better options. Another thought that crossed my mind...why not consider a t5rade AFTER the Draft in order to get a quality QB that's been selected by another Team?

They are more than a Qb away from competing. I think they should draft the best player available and build the team through the draft. Next year they have more salary cap to put weapons around a cheap rookie Qb like Sanders or Ewers. I’m sure they will have a top 5 draft pick next year especially with the current Qb room.

Trade rumors are misdirection at best. No one plays their hand before the draft. Best to trade back and get a second round pick, then pick best available for team need, preferably low risk difference makers. Not sure if this is the year to get a quarterback unless it falls in your lap. Zach is only 24 and has immense talent, maybe see what he has under a much better offensive line then he had in New York.

Zach Wilson trade says 2 things imo : 1. We are not trading up. You don't bother trading for Zach if you might trade up for Maye, Daniels, or McCarthy. 2. We are very willing to trade down, and even risk not acquiring Nix. Which means Sean thinks he's not (much) better than Pratt or Rattler.

Zach Wilson isn’t as bad as people are making him out to be. After all, he was a 2nd round pick just 3 years ago and being with Payton, it could be a good fit. We need to move back, get more draft capital and get some defensive studs in the first and second round. Also, there’s no way we should draft Bo Nix, who’s the same age as Zach Wilson and honestly, Zach is much better than Bo!
