I blame the refs for calls like the Herbert slide personal foul, and the no-call on the Mims DPI (which isn't in this video). But the bottom line is that the offense and defense collapsed in the 2nd half. They just couldn't perform. Sean and Bo had plenty of opportunities to move the ball but they couldn't. Partly was because of JW just running into the line for negative yards on 2nd down putting them in 3rd and long all night, too.

as a chargers fan this is my favorite thing I've seen all day lmao. a couple things though, as others have mentioned, the derwin play wasn't a pick. the guy caught it but was short so broncos punted. the weird field goal formation is called a "free kick" and has always been part of the game, but one hasn't been made in about 50 years because they're very rare. only happens at the end of halves after a catch interference

Are you arguing against rules? Fair catch goal kick is the rules since beginning of the last century and the interference was obvious. You should blame the gunner for ramming into catcher without any need for that, not the correct implementation of rules. Penalty call is slightly bit different, this angle does not show the actual contact, but I believe I heard commentators who saw more replay angles, that Bronco actually pushed the elbow outwards and it did touch Herbert's helmet. Haven't seen that with my own eyes so I will not be that insisting. I've always defended defending side in their contacts with late sliding QBs, however the extending elbow outwards (if that really happened) probably is the difference when to make and when to not make the call. But in general - the end of Q2 changed the flow of the game. Proper time management after INT, and/or bit more discipline from gunner and the swing probably would not have happened.

Brother saying that's not PI outs you. I'm generally impartial to reffing, ish happens. But that was 100%, no question asked, a PI. When they teach new refs about PI, they are going to use that snippet. You can't 1. Make forceful contact to the receiver before the ball gets there. He is HOLDING his arm inside the elbow to prevent him from making a play on a very catchable ball and 2. go up making MORE contact on the play--before the ball gets there--without ever looking to locate the ball. That is TEXTBOOK PI, and that's not an opinion, that is a fact. They call this a PI 99 out of 100 times. Ref might be at a bad angle to see it, but that doesn't make it any less a PI.

I went to this game last night and oml, watching the plays that should have been flags not getting called is insane, nik bonitto was being held every single time he got into the backfield moms got tackled on that deep throw and another no call, that run should have been a fumble he didn’t survive contact with the ground.
