Hes not going to be "NBA good." He will be good enough to get a roster spot though. Youre creating the very problem youre complaining about. Stop giving unrealistic projections. Its only going to cause hate and criticism when he inevitably falls short of them. Bronny at best will get minutes as a roleplayer. He will never be a starter, let alone a superstar. But theres nothing wrong with coming off the bench. There are plenty of men whose fathers were NBA Hall of Fame players who never even made it to the NBA. This wouldnt be an issue if his last name wasnt James.

@CalebSimmons-cb4ch5 күн бұрын
The problem is his efficiency. Even in his better G-League performances so far (and I will acknowledge that it is still a very small sample size), he has been wildly inefficient as a scorer. In the modern league, teams can't afford a non-scoring perimeter player no matter how good their defense is. Right now, at best, Bronny looks like an undersized Andre Roberson or Killian Hayes. Might have great defensive upside, and in the case of Hayes they might have good playmaking, but teams can't afford to give that kind of player minutes anymore.
@donavenmurray34635 күн бұрын
@ I don’t think his efficiency is a problem. He’s a rookie and a lot of rookies that handle the ball struggle with efficiency early on. What’s important for him that he’s been showing lately is a willingness to take the shots. He will learn where his spots are as he gets more experience and will become more efficient.
@pigeon73165 күн бұрын
😂😂😂no he won't because stupid lakers won't let him go
@CalebSimmons-cb4ch5 күн бұрын
@@donavenmurray3463 Yes, but most of those rookies struggle with their efficiency IN THE NBA. And even most them are more efficient than Bronny. Especially the players who end up even becoming half decent role players. Bronny right now IN THE G - LEAGUE is posting a TS% barely better than a rookie Killian Hayes. Keep in mind that Killian Hayes was released by one of the worst NBA teams ever last season. And Killian Hayes was doing that in what is a much more talented league. Bronny James is playing as poorly so far in the G - League (I will acknowledge that it is a small sample) as a rookie Killian Hayes in the NBA. Killian Hayes is legitimately one of the WORST NBA PLAYERS who actually played minutes in recent memory. Now, I actually am rooting for Bronny. But I think people are overreacting. Let's wait and see if he can have even a stretch of five straight actually positive games before we go making grand declarations about his future. Legitimately, no one would care and you would have no hopes for his future if it weren't for his last name.
