@@John6-40 If you recall, the boy didn't have the ability or confidence to even get himself those shots just a couple of months ago. He wasn't even in a spot where he should start considering his percentages. It was all about how to get those shots and assists and not being completely irrelevant. Now several months later, the boy is handling part of the offense plays as a point guard, playing solid defense, hustling on both end of the court, and making passable open threes. I would say this is an observable improvement, especially considering the short timespan. The fact you are talking about efficiencies now shows improvement, because a couple of months ago he was a complete trash and you don't even need to start discussing his stats.

That +- speaks volumes here, especially compared to other ‘more seasoned’ players. Seems like an excellent teammate. I see him in a rotation role as soon as next season, Point of attack, off the bench. His minutes depend on the matchup unfortunately as his height is a concern, could make up for it with strength potentially.

Remember he really didn’t have a freshmen season in USC cuz of the heart thing so he is really almost straight out of high school and I think at 55th pick the Lakers got a real good value pick. Even if he never even averages double digit scoring as a NBA player he can still be effective playing defense getting assists and occasionally knocking down some open 3s and getting buckets on fast break and steals. I can see him getting 4 to 5 assists with 5 rebounds a steal and good effort on a nightly basis. Not bad from the 10th man in your team.
