This song instantly reminds me of the tiny dance floor in the local club where we lived. It was small, very cramped but we didn't notice. Loved this year for music. There were so many other great numbers out there in late '85. UB40's 'Don't Break My Heart', Talking Heads 'Road To Nowhere', not to mention Band Aid's christmas song, so many more. What a year for music.

Davina Bowker: For me, an "awesome song in its day" will still be an awesome song 35 plus years later. I always thought of this as a big disappointment after the 3 great singles from The Age of consent album. I suppose the terrible cover of I Feel love, with Marc Almond, should have sounded alarm bells but this was no better than Brotherhood period New Order.

This was an awesome time growing up with all the club music in the eighties. Bronski beat had great tunes for dance clubs of all kinds in my opinion. I just enjoyed the music and still do. I just want to say that yes over time many years later it is best to 're listen to the older songs at times.
