The Costanzo family grew up in bronte maniace down the street from Nelson Castle .my family are farmers olives & grapes this year. I spent my 16th birthday in bronte at the time a British flag flying a top the castle ment Royalty was staying there hence no visitors.i so wanted to see the inside but to this day I don't know who stayed there my grandmother said it was the princess. One of the beachside suburbs of Sydney, Australia is called Bronte and indirectly it takes its name from Bronte in Sicily through the great English admiral Lord Nelson who was made duke of Bronte by the king of Naples as Nelson saved the kingdom from the French Revolutionaries.Also the famous English family of writers -the Brontes changed their original name to Bronte because of Lord Nelson.
