Wow I was 15 years old in 1985 in that projects. Bronx River Projects is where Learned how to play handball. As a foster child in Bronx River Projects My experience was pretty kool because I met a lot of kool people who accepted me ❤❤❤❤ Thanks Nina for some memories Peace Super star❤

From the street corner to the world stage -The Bronx, A Hip Hop Story.. I always wanted to write an essay about hip hop, even though I could not do it in my country. But yes, these buildings/these projects are the most recognized around the world. Thanks to the artists u mentioned. And it all blew up with the Rock Steady Crew and movies like Beatstreet. As a 54-year-old man breakdance, electric boogie, beatbox, and rap dominated my youth. So I love to watch these videos in this day and age. Sometimes I get emotional, so many things happened and we lost many. But yeah, it's better to focus on the good and fun times we had and remember those who made it all possible. Thank you for this short walk.🧡

That pool been there for years. You should do a walkthrough Bronxdale Projects (Sotomayor Houses) nearby. Bronxdale is the birthplace of the Black Spades and the earliest hip hop parties were thrown there by Disco King Mario before Bronx River
