This song perfectly captures my experience with transitioning. I lost so many relationships as a result of coming out and my life was thrown into a mess. But the relationships I have today are 10 times stronger than the old ones and I am in such a more stable place.

God's standard, will, way and Word are what should guide you, not human feeling, human sentiment, emotion, societal values, which are often twisted, skewed and warped. But that is exactly what you have done and are doing. In fact, many people today think they even have the right, being mere clay pots, to define the Potter Himself. They say things like, "I worship God my way," or "My God is different than your God," or "What is true for you may not be true for me." It's all this self-centered, rebellious, moral relativism bunk. But the question is this: What is the truth? If there is a God who made the human race, then we must look to Him for truth and guidance, and to Him we must obey and yield. Are you willing to do this? Your words and testimony reveal that your clear intent is to do whatever you want instead of yielding your Creator. And if you have turned away from the Divine Potter, then what can be said of whatever peace or light you think you have found? Well, it most assuredly is a false peace, and a false light. Jesus once said this, "If the light that be in you be darkness, how great is that darkness!" Our society today is putting light for darkness and darkness light, calling good evil and evil good, and praising and lauding people who are pursuing evil and calling it "indvidualism" and "diversity." But any peace we might find in disobedience to God or in defiance of His laws will not last. Eventually God's judgment will fall and the little kingdoms we have built for ourselves will fall in ruin. If you were born a biological male, you are a male. If you were born a biological female, you are a female. It's that simple. The hard part is working through the abuse, pain, falsity, deception, skewed thinking, or whatever negative factors that has caused you to follow in the immoral steps of Bruce Jenner. That's who HE still is. Once again, I speak graciously, so please don't think otherwise.

I and the probable Love of my life just ended things because I (finally) told her about my lack of religion. Coming from a religious family and being religious, she didn't take it too well. Amidst tears from us both this morning, we ended things. It has been difficult, and I suspect it still is only the beginning. This song seems to speak to me, but I don't want to move on just yet. I don't want another one. I want her. I wish I could have her, and it hurts so so badly that I can't hold on to her again. I believe I already had the better one, and I lost it. This song is beautiful all the same, and unfortunately, I can't bring myself to accept what it says. Sorry for disturbing you with my personal problems. Cheers.
