I can understand the ones who were mad. If you get smurfed on with absolutely no way of winning it makes you feel like shit and probably even makes you think about quitting the game. This is made worst when it's a youtuber/streamer since you know they are doing it by choice. They didnt lose their account or got reset by psyonix, they made the choice to go to lowers ranks to destroy everyone for the sake of content thus revenue. I can understand being mad when someone shits on you just to get money.

Smurfing against people in lower ranks isn't very cool. This shouldn't be a speed run. Lethamyr does it properly by trying his best to play at their level but hitting flip resets and stuff on silvers isn't very cool.

They probably like it, when do they get the opportunity to play against a pro , it’s literally one game and then they’re back to playing against silvers forever. And lethamyr makes sure he wins through his positioning and accuracy he may not be hitting flip resets but his opponents have like a 5% chance

It was interesting to see maybe the first 3 times, but that's about it. These games are entirely uninteractive. You can't even learn when the rank and skill difference is this large.

Technically not, since hes not throwing matches intentionally to lower his rank… he starts with a fresh account and plays normally until he reaches his mmr… more a problem with the mmr system not letting high level players reach their matching skill level fast enough
