Mia Romeo I don’t have a Spark stone in this size but I did use a Potomac Crystals Oval Stone for the blue one in the video. It fit just as well as a Swarovski stone. I’m thinking the Spark stone would be okay as well but can’t be sure.

Hi Lynn, Druk beads are Czech Glass round beads. I use them instead of pearls for some projects, especially the 6mm or 8mm ones. They are perfect for any place you need a round bead. Eureka has some beautiful colors of Druk beads. I'm so glad you're enjoying your Wild Horse Collection. All their collection are gorgeous!

Hi Stephanie, I started working with the bezel, is the Swarovski and Potomac oval fancy stone measurements the same? I’m using Swarovski fancy stone, 54 delicas ring is little loose when I tried to fit the stone!

I used the same bezel for both the Swarovski and the Potomac Crystal. They are both 25x18mm stones but the shape is very slightly different. Message a picture to Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look.

Stephannie, on one of your other tutorials called when you were showing a bead box, you said you were going to take a triangle crystal and try to get the prongs off the sides so you could bead around it. Gorgeous! Do you do anything to protect the back foiling on the stone from getting scratched/worn? There is a lot of surface exposure on the larger stone.

Hi Lisa! You can create a Peyote Bezel for any size fancy stone. The drops on the bottom can be put anywhere. The scalloped 15/0 part of the interior bezel might need a little adjustment. I say go for it.

Thank you for this tutorial, Stephanie! I love this piece :) Quick question - did you start this project with 54 or 56 delica beads? Also, if I wanted to fully encase the back of the stone, would you recommend to just keep on going with 15/0 beads or would I need to do a decreases of some sorts?

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry Thank you! Yep, you did mention 54 beads and for some reason my stone did not fit (I was using a cabochon and not a rivoli). I am thinking my delicas might be slightly different so I will give it another try with different a different color :)

You need to use a crystal fancy stone ( Swarovski or another brand) with this bezel. A cabochon is a completely different shape so it won’t work.
