I have to say this is the best way I have seen to put a bezel in for any piece I want to make...love that it is beautiful on front and back...for a single drop on a chain and it will look great even if it flips while wearing it...Thank you for sharing

You have uploaded this tutorial 2years ago and as a novice beader, start beading last October, it was a quiet challenging from bezeling a Chaton TI make a beautiful ring. I replaced 4mm pearls with 3 mm rondelles (by mistakes) and the holes were so little to go through. I just had to go around 15/0 inside to get to next 11/0 seed bead to make band. All in all, this ring turned out so pretty. I always admire your design but it challenges me to make something beautiful/elegant following ur tutorial. Thank you for the upload. So much more to learn❣️

Here is the thing..... I am not going to wear it, much.... just looking at it while making it will make me feel so good, the sparkle of the crystal the sheen of the pearls, the glitter of the cut seedbeads, the gorgeous light blue color, then I can leave it on display wherever I find a good place for it, maybe on the bedroom fireplace mantle in a small antique dish or box. I am certainly not going to stuff it away into a jewelry box, unless it is a glass box.

Very lovely set! As an FYI, if the back is not covered in beads and there is concern about the foil, many beaders put a thin coat or two of clear nail polish to protect it. Use a bit of poster tack or the like to hold in place if don't want to get polish on fingers. This set is one of my faves you have done!!

I love the little trick with the band, making the band sit up under the ring. Your band with the interlace weave for the uneven points in the ring. A masterpiece! OMD! The band sits like a domed band. Your colour combinations again..... Stunning! Totally Elegant! Feminine! I mad about rings, I have watched a lot of vids on seed beaded rings, and this is, in my opinion, one of the best designs and video tutorials I have seen to date. The other is your Tapestry ring. Stunning! Totally Elegant! Feminine! ! Thank you!

I have done this design again and this time with 11/o delicas as I have discovered that 11/o Hex beads are impossible to get here in the UK. It works now and I am delighted,. I couldn't find Rivolis the right size and colour so used Chatons and found that as the backs are much smaller I just tightened up the seven 15/o without adding any in the middle. Works well, I wonder if anyone else did the same thing? Your designs are beautiful and I so enjoy your ideas. Thank you.

Hi Stephanie, you mentioned when you were a beginner... Have you ever done a get to know me video or a q&a? I'm just curious as to how you got started in jewelry making? What did you do when you got discouraged to keep on learning? Do recommend taking a class? Did you tell your friends/associates what you wanted to learn, and how supportive were they in the beginning? What inspires you? How long have you been making jewelry? What's your favorite type of jewelry to make (rings, earrings, bracelets etc) hope these aren't to intrusive to ask. If nothing else Just tell me you've been doing this for at least 7 years and I won't feel so defeated before I get started . ☺️
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry6 жыл бұрын
Hello and thank you for your interest 😊🙏🌻I don’t have a q&a video but it’s a really good idea so I will put it on the video request list. Please don’t get discouraged! Bead weaving is one part learning and then lots of practice! I mean a ton of time spent beading and ripping it out and starting over! Patience is soooo important and most of all enjoying the journey 💚 I have been bead weaving for several years and my skills improve every day. Hang in there with me and have fun!!!

Love it, as always. Question: are there any seed beads that won’t lose their color?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry7 жыл бұрын
rose gaither Thank you rose 🌹 That’s a hard question to answer. The metallic bronze I use and nickel silver seem to hold their color. Most beads that have a “coating” might rub off in time. Duracoat is one that I have trouble with. However, Miyuki has a permanently galvanized duracoat bead that might last longer. Miyuki has a durability chart. Google Miyuki durability chart and you can take a look. Hope this helps 😃

+Louanne Fournier Hello Louanne - The stone is Aquamarine Swarovski 1088 - ss39 is the number on the package. The seeds don’t have a name or number on the tube so the closest looks like Miyuki 413F Matte . Opaque Turquoise Blue.

What a gorgeous ring you created Stephanie! Loving the Bermuda blue colour. may I ask what is your experience with the nickel silver seed beads? @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry7 жыл бұрын
76livika Thank you 🙏🌻😃 I haven’t had an issue with the nickel plated beads. I have been using them for more than a year now and no tarnishing or rubbing off. Love this project! Just one quick question...I discovered I had some unused rivolis, but they're 12mm (not 10 or 11 per the ones used in your video). Do I need to alter the number of Delicas initially used to create the bezel (I think you went with 26 in your video), or will 26 work with this slightly larger size?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry6 жыл бұрын
+Chloe Derraugh Thank you Chloe 🙏🌻😃 I don’t think the 12mm will work with 26 Delicas and adding more will throw off the sequence of the next rounds. You could play with it and see if you can get it to work but a 10mm rivoli or chaton is best for this pattern 🌻
@chloederraugh17616 жыл бұрын
Glad I asked! I'll save my 12mm rivolis for another project and invest in some 10mm rivolis or chatons. Thanks for the quick reply!

Ok I got ya! Yes the last picot looks closer until you put on the rest of the beads. I mention in the video that it looks wonky but settles on the next round. You are doing it right - trust me 🙏🌻😀

How many grams of the 18k hex metallic delicas does it take for the 4 components?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry7 жыл бұрын
+Mary Wright You don’t need many. I think the smallest amount of hex delicas you can buy is 5gms.
@marywright98977 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I went to the link you provided and figured the price wasn't too bad if 5 grams would be enough. I plan on making this for Christmas for myself, but as it always seems to go, I end up giving it away and end up making for others and end up never getting around to making one for myself lol!
