I wouldn't consider it biting because the shows are very different. Our show is just an artist "breaking down" one specific song's creation and meaning, and then performing it live. Your show from what I can tell was general interviewing with a host, and music videos. To be honest we hadn't heard of your show, though it would make sense that a generic name like "The Breakdown" has been used before. Big props to you though for being so prolific and landing huge interviews, that isn't easy.

Just sent a video response to this...we were the creators of "THE BREAKDOWN" a hip hop interview and video show that ran 48 episodes between 2005-2009. We had a pretty sizable following (several videos clipped over 1mill views - shut down entire servers). Not saying you couldn't use the name. Just saying its obvious you appreciate ORIGINAL Hip Hop, and with that in mind, would you consider yourself biting our style?

I don't know, your well worded response seems like a stretch...generic name sure, and if you were doing something quite different wouldn't seem so encroaching...i sent a video response to this as well (which hasn't been posted at your discretion)...similarities are pretty obvious...quality hip hop focused, interview based. I've already gotten several calls about it. I like where you are going with your programming, my suggestion is come up with a new name for this series of work.
