Appreciate the comment and I gotta say the kayak is worth every penny! Opened up a whole new world of fishing for me and I've been out in it more than my big boat.

Really nice trout!
@MasterCrowOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate that! They're the stocked variety, but a lot of fun in the yak and great when smoked.

Merci Jacques! I think you're right. These bigger trout will hit a spinner with a piece or worm!

What turned put to be a tough day at the office in blustery windy conditions proved to be not too bad in the end some brilliant fish caught. Nice one for the smoker too

If you could, please tell us what species of fish in the lake you are fishing. I know you mentioned Smallies, any pike? I know you have Jumbo Muskies on the Saint Johns…… any lakes with Muskies near you? Inquiring minds want to know.
@MasterCrowOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response, I'm just seeing these comments now for some reason? The species in this lake are brook trout and smallmouth bass. There's also American eels here and yellow perch. I know Glazier Lake north of me has muskies, but I'm not sure where else does beside the Saint John River.

This was around the first week of May. I was back again a week later and caught a couple more, but it's been all bass since then!
