Has anyone ever had the Xbox One mode (default mode on PC) randomly stop working? I was playing on my PC yesterday when all of a sudden the game stuttered, and my stick stopped working. I updated the firmware and reinstalled the device, but no luck. What's weird is that the stick still works on my PC if I force 360 mode by holding Fierce when I plug it in. My regular Xbox One controllers still work fine on my PC. This leads me to believe the Xbox One function of the PCB malfunctioned and left everything else intact, but I don't understand how that's possible.

UFB is the faster and most consistent board that I’ve personally tested. I’ve tried the other “faster” boards but in my real world tests, the UFB has always been better. Check out my recent video showcasing the GamesCare PCB and you’ll see what I mean.

My joystick doesn't have the 5 pin connection, it's standard quick connects just like the buttons. Will this board be useful?

beazydallas yeah just wire up direction inputs to the board and then just bridge all the grounds together on the stick and plug that into the ground.

I just got my fightboard in the mail and your installation video helped out a great deal. Thank you my friend. Quick question: When I hook it up to my PC, it's registered as an Xbox One controller, but from what I heard is that this causes some input lag on the controller. Did they eventually patch that out, because its kinda annoying to constantly manually set it to Xbox 360 mode.

when you plug it in just hold down 3P (fierce) to force it into 360 mode. Everytime i plug into PC i prefer the 360 mode as well.

NinjaRed5000 yeah it defaults to xboxone one on windows 10. It's due to the plug and play logic on the firmware. Keep in mind if you leave your stick plugged in it will remain in that mode.

NinjaRed5000 that's not necessarily true. It really all depends on your motherboard / USB chipset. For instance on my diy desktop there's no lag difference between the 2 modes. However on my Asus ROG laptop there is lag. I just used to playing it safe and do the forced 360 mode. Test it out on your setup.

Ps360+ requires a lot more work to get it to work on Xbox one and ps4 support only works for 8 minutes before having to unplug and plug the arcade stock back in this works for everything usb related out of the box

I have a Qanba Q4. In order to use this, I have gut the PCB's out of there and use JUST THIS PCB? I'm assuming the answer is yes but just wanted to be sure. If so, what "mode" do I have to put my Qanba in for it to auto-recognize the system it's being plugged in to? The Qanba has a slider switch for 360/PS3 mode.

Yes. The mode switch won't work anymore since you swapped PCBs. You can remap the switch however it's not needed. There will be a software command to switch between dp, ls, and rs in the next firmware update.

Im planing in building my own joystick, and if works a MAme cabinet too, no experience whatsoever, outside of videos like yours, which will work fine,,, I hope. Anyways I want to go for a Crown CWL, with some silent Hayabusa buttons in a Tek-Case S1-B, went everywhere looking for a PCB for ps4/pc withoutimeout till I found this,,, hHHHallelujah! Might sound like duhhh, but Will it work with the configuration I want right?? And is there a way to make the stick wireless! Hopefully I'm not going overboard with this!

It really is that easy. Did you do all the firmware updates? Are you hitting home when you connect it? If not the above and everything is connected properly something is wrong with your board.

I have two pcb's so atleast one should work. I would say maybe i wired them wrong but my pc is picking up the inputs correctly, but when i try to update it for the ps4 it doesnt recognize the buttons.

TheTankTN standard USB "A to B" cable aka a printer cable. Monoprice sells em cheap. Get a short one for the internal wire. The longer the cable, the less reliable it is.

It will definitely fit. Just installed one into a Madcatz SE case which later became the brawl stick. I used one of the posts where the original PCB went to screw it down and some hot glue to anchor it down.

It's basically plug and play. You do have to solder into the main control panel to access home.

KRIS B you can bridge the PCBs. Just make sure ground and power are connected. You can switch USB cables or use a DPDT switch to toggle between PCBs. Good luck

Sean Livingston yup if your comfortable soldering to get all the functionality and unless you want to swap the parts for better quality ones. The buttons and stick are Qanba branded (sub par) and not Sanwa.

Sean Livingston it doesn't matter what parts you connect to the pcb. But just letting you know that the new Qanba stick doesn't use the standard parts that most "pro" level sticks use. They are considered "B" grade compared to Sanwa, Seimitsu, or the newer Horizon Kuro parts.

Sean Livingston yeah I wouldn't recommend it if you've not familiar with modding. Or possibly have someone that is help you out. Check out brook's super converters though. For instance if you need xboxone compatibility you can just buy the PS3/PS4 - XBOXONE converter.

Sadly I don't think I'm getting an Xbox One, and my laptop is not powerful enough for Killer Instinct, so I'm gonna have to pass on this. Since I'm planning on getting either a Wii U, or, if its true, a Nintendo NX, I might save up for one of their converters instead of a brand new PCB. Actually, at this point I just got a new gaming laptop with 12 gb RAM, Nvidia GTX 970m graphics card and Intel i7. So now I do have KI, but since it's via the Xbox app, I can't use my fightstick, instead using third party software to use it

Hold down 3P to force into 360 mode while connecting . Either way both are xinput.

I have this same board. Why When I plug it in to my laptop it works just fine. but when I plug it in to my PC it it instantly crashes and gives me a blue screen?? They are both running windows 7. Any ideas would be great???

+Esteban Olide it has to do the with USB 3.0 drivers. You may be able to disable some options in bios. Or Try plugging into a USB 2.0 port or using a USB 2.0 hub. There's a huge thread on SHORYUKEN.com tech talk forum that I started. Please do some research there as there have been many solutions.

Jon Bonilla I found a solution! go to control panel>programs>uninstalled the USB 3.0 eXtensionable controller. And thats is it worked right away. But I do wonder what capabilities im losing on my PC by doing that? anyways the hitbox is working on my PC now so this is GREAT!!!!

Works fine. Win10 detects it as a xboxone device. You can also force it into xbox360 mode by holding down 3P while connecting to USB - which is recommended due to flaky USB 3.0 drivers on win 10. I personally play KI and SFV on steam with no issues.

I will most definitely be getting this now with full headers attached and a mod board compatible, where I've not modded a stick before, and all videos move too fast and don't cover everything needed or shown well enough to be able to follow along.

I started having the 8minute timeout on my Brook PCB barely today on 04/06/16. The first couple of days it was fine till today. Does anyone know how to update firmware on the new Brook pcb, I tried going to the Brook site and downloading but I was having issues. Help is greatly appreciated!

Update will be out tomorrow on brook's website. Be patient. The Sony update is less than 24 hours old. Give them time to patch and test it. - Edit: update is posted on brook's website
