Brooke Miller - Two Soldiers

I am honoured to have delivered a new DADGAD model G4.2 (Sapele/Lutz) to Brooke Miller on July 28, 2011. Brooke stopped by my shop with her G2 (the first guitar I built for her in 2006) to record a few tunes. As usual, this is the artist, the guitar and a mic in the bench room of my shop. There are no pickups being used. The sound is pure. Enjoy!

Well said GreenfieldGuitars, I'm right there with you. Absoutely sick of people thinking music online is just there for the taking! Just because you can steal it, doesn't mean you should, anyone facilitating and encouraging people to do so is equally appalling. Aside from that negativity, These series of sessions you've recorded are absolutely brilliant. A real treat to see the performances so i'm looking forward to the DVD this year.

You are totally right, i was not telling him to pirate Brooke´s music, is just that there is no record for sale for this particular version. Im a photographer and i know what you are saying. That kind of stealing happen to me very often. But i repeat, telling people to pirate things was not my point. Im sorry about it if i did explain my self wrong. It would be great to see this collection of songs released as an EP so that we can take it in the car with us. As much as I like the band accompaniment of the studio recordings, I much prefer the simple guitar and vocals sound.

Check out Brooke's latest CD "Familiar". It's basicly only Brooke and her Greenfields and she does these songs as well as others. That said I'd still like to see michael put these performances on a DVD or CD :0).
