Brooke I lost my daughter almost 2 years ago in a car accident. Her name is Kristian Monet Richardson. We call her Krissy. She was 23 years old. She passed on May 16, 2021 and I feel your pain. I started a legacy nonprofit around my daughter and her amazing philanthropy and humanitarian work in the community giving backpacks filled with school supplies and academic scholarships to underprivileged kids in our communities. Krissy started this work when she was 21 in college and I’m here to finish it in her name. Our nonprofit is called Monet Richardson Community Foundation. I would love to partner with you Brooke on your nonprofit. Carlos thank you for having Brooke on your show. I started grief therapy 7 days after Krissy transitioned and I continue still. Be blessed.

The pain doesn't go away..it may ease for a day but I'm glad she is able to wake up and maneuver even though some days I know she doesn't want to get out of the bed. Sending you SO many hugs❤. We lost my older brother Sean in a motorcycle crash 4/28/11 two weeks before his college graduation. Our parents were devastated. And then this past November 2022 my beloved mom passed away after a shocking diagnosis of stage IV nonsmokers lung cancer just four months after her diagnosis. I take comfort that she’s no longer in any pain, and she’s finally reunited with Sean again, but now my dad and I are going through a whole new set of “firsts” without my mom, and it’s just as painful as it was 12 years ago with Sean.

This touched my soul. I to lost my oldest son when he was 22. Found out it was heart disease.I was called to him home and tried CPR and 20 minutes later he at the ER and was gone. Life has not been the same People wonder where my smile comes from. Those same people you can't let them see you sweat! The devil preys on the weak. He doesn't Pray for you. Grief is an ongoing process . But by the Faith of God he keeps me! Praying for you Brooke 🙏

You are exactly right! The Lord is our only answer... Some ppl get it and some don't! I really just look at a little bit of reality tv and to me it's depressing for me. To watch our ppl fight each other, treat each other bad for the dollar bill. Shameful. Now some tv you can tell it's just acting. But when ppl are saying they have Christ in their lives and treating each other like dogs for money it's awful. Our young ppl are watching these shows and treating to act like these women and men. Look like Brooke is strong and may God watch over her to heal her heart.

Ive always loved Brooke’s heart and soul from the first time she appeared on BBW. She owns who she is and walks in her truth. How she speaks of her daughter with all that strength is powerful. I cant think about my mother too long without bursting into tears and she passed in 2019, 3 months after my baby was born and she was mom. I couldnt imagine if it was my child. I pray that she continues to be strong and addresses the pain through God and the universe. I pray for Carlos the same regarding his mom. ❤❤❤❤❤
