Not even saying sorry to the family of the young man who was murdered is crazy to me. I’m sure with all this media attention they have seen what she said. 😖

seeing her defend the death of a 17 year old while her fans use her being the same age as an excuse is so utterly disgusting to me. the basic lack of empathy is so insane. her apology is weak and she doesn’t deserve forgiveness. she apologized to her fans. not to the black community, not to trayvon martins family, to the people who give her money because thats all that really matters to her. we dont want an explanation. there is no excuse to saying something as disgusting as what she said, she had one chance to provide a genuine apology (meand completely missed the point.

ALSO! how were these tweets up for TEN YEARS??? this woman is almost 30 and for a whole decade, she did acknowledge her wrongs and make a statement or even just delete the tweets, they sat up there aging while she was given a platform…

im sorry, but i dont accept her using the murder of george floyd as a shifting point for a white woman in her mid twenties. there have been a plethora of black youths, woman, and men murdered unjustly for her whole life, i think she only “shifted her views” she the public wouldnt harrass her during that time. do i think brooke is a raging racist? no, but shes so utterly ignorant and i dont have the patience for white woman actively deciding to be uneducated on politics . people of color dont have that choice, im uneducated and im murdered for walking too “suspicious.” i dont get to ignore politics because my right are somehow of political. im just sick of these ignorant people being excused for being blatantly disgustingz

(Sorry for my English I’m French) The thing is I understand that people can change etc, however, even tho I’m not concerned I have 4 main issues about this : - the RACISM in these tweets is just…. - it’s really, really not that hard to not be racist - her family is supposedly racist, ok. HOWEVER she was old enough to write all that. To blame everything on mom dad grandpa grandma friends etc is kind of a coward thing to do when she could also use some common sense and not follow her parents footsteps.. - I used to watch the cancelled podcast and there are soooo many red flags about Brooke. She wants to be perceived a certain way to be liked. So the thing about “she may have changed” has she or is she only performing? She could very easily fall into performative activism. - Last but not least, I don’t like her so I hope she never comes back to the podcast. (Even tho I’m pretty sure she will)

It keeps surprising me how influencers, people who make a career out of their presentation online, lack the understanding that their actions do, in fact, have consequences. Especially when it comes to not treating their social media like their portfolio and not just a void to dump shit in. People *will* see the stuff you keep up, so it should at least be up to date, right? If you had a personal growth moment you shouldn’t keep your previously opposite thoughts up for everyone to see. I would love to believe that it’s common sense, but it evidently isn’t Loved your thought about how white women don’t have to think about consequences of their actions, because their privilege protects them. Makes me think that privilege sometimes hinders maturity, since there is not enough stress to genuinely grow from. A very insightful video!

I love how she keeps saying she was 18 but was still tweeting racist things while in college 21 years old

she needs to see this video. i don't think she's learned because she's still posting online after that horrible apology.

I love hearing your take on this and you not being afraid to just call out the bullshit, especially as a POC yourself. You look amazing as always.. I literally stopped this video before it really got going to show my boyfriend your Instagram and your gorgeous cosplays because I’ve been following since your Marceline looks ♥️ Please keep posting your opinions and commentaries because this was so well-spoken and engaging to watch even though the topic is quite sensitive.. wishing you so much success and happiness on your channel 🌞💖✨

It’s honestly getting so exhausting finding new content creators just to find out they’re blatantly racist. I’m not saying Brooke can’t learn from her mistakes but her apology stems from the fact that she got caught. She just seems like every other white girl I went to high school with

She always came off as mean and Tana did so many ppl dirty, like Maddison beer bcs she was simply jealous. She only can keep friends who are average looking bcs she’s insecure

There is so much to say about the topic of people who have a past of racism. This was unfortunately a very surface level video to post. No actual interaction with the issue at hand, just a regurgitation of what has already been said. Dig deeper next time this topic deserves it

@@CasJeromeactually they are….😂many people think and say this way. Do you realize how humans are? What an ignorant thing to say. The majority of people have negative and have said some pretty sh*t things about people or a person. Girl don’t act like you haven’t though or said mean things goodness

@@CasJerome there is audio tape of Zimmerman calling police and pretty sure he was acquitted for the shooting of Treyvon and there’s more to the story the media lets out. There’s actually a professor who talks about this type of stuff. Of course we can say what happened is sad but in reality blacks are unaliving one another at a rate no cop, no other race can compare to. It’s ok when it’s black on black but not another ethnicity or person of authority.

@@CasJerome soc 119, KZbin this professor. There are reasons people question the integrity of things like Zimmerman and Martin situation where Martin’s life is no longer here. Look what happened at the trial.

Well my opinion was in my title AND I said we should be nuanced about how we look at these situations not that my entire video which is my opinion was going to be nuanced! 👍
